Thanks. The VTF-3 is the one I've been leaning toward. The AVS Forum has a deal with Hsu Research so that you can get a VTF-3R for the same price as the garden variety VTF-3. And thanks again; I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this board. I help out on a couple of car-related forums/mailing lists so I understand how much effort you expend to help us newbies.

Yes, I'm still trying to decide on a sub for my family room HTS; the room is @3400 cubic feet in size. Right now I'm considering the Hsu VTF-3R($849), Paradigm PW 2200 V2($600-demo), and the Velodyne CHT 15($600). WAF dictates no tubes. Any thoughts? TIA!!!

DD; Thanks for the tip, but I've already picked up an RC-3II. Ovation is having a decent sale on discontinued Klipsch and Denon products. I got the RC-3II for $275, and the RS-3IIs for $200 each. They are also selling the KSW-12 for $375. Another good deal Ovation has is buy a Denon 1603 for $399 and get a 900 DVD player for $150. I'm going to see if they will do something similar with an 1803 and a 1600.

Here's the HT system I am in the process of putting together: Front- KG4 Center- RC-3II Surround- RS-3II As for the electronics, I'm leaning toward either a Denon 1803 or a Yamaha RX-V620. What subwoofer in the $500 price range would you suggest? The KSW-12 looks like a good value, but the Hsu VTF-2 has received several strong endorsements. Any advice would be appreciated!
