  1. I wasn't sure whether to put this in the 2-Channel or Home Theater area, but HT is more active, so I'll don my fire suit and here goes... I've heard all manner of live musical performance for many years. When I hear home audio gear judged by its fidelity to live performance, I just don't understand why this is a relevant standard. For instance, I attended a Boston concert last night. "Imaging"? "Depth"? "Spaciousness"? Forget it! Even though it sounded great, I feel any well-produced studio album can sound worlds better than any live performance where amplification is involved. The only way this line blurs, in my opinion, is a live performance of acoustic instruments with little, if any, amplification--and only when the listener is ideally located relative to the performers. I have a complete R35 system (well, using KSW200 and waiting on the RW10...) in a 14x28 room, being fed by a NAD T 762. Despite my skepticism with the "traditional" definition of "good sound", I am very happy with these boxes. I just wish I weren't in an attached condo so I could really let them rip. Todd/Indy
  2. OK, I haven't unpacked them yet (the wai-ai-ting is the hardest part...). Tonight is Jimmy Buffett here in Indy, so I probably won't get to it until tomorrow. I will listen acutely and see if I note any changes in performance in the initial hours of use. Of course, I'll report back for others' info. Todd
  3. Tonight I will be unboxing a pair of RF 35's, a pair of RS 35's, and an RC 35. Nutrition will be a NAD T 762 and NAD T 562. I've heard of the need to "break-in" these speakers. If so, what genre? How long? How loud? Or is all of this break-in stuff hocus-pocus? Thanks for your advice, Todd
  4. Sent you hotmail about this... Todd
  5. Big thumbs-up for NAD T 762 here, too. No problem with the issues noted earlier. With Klipsch efficiencies, it has ridiculous power to spare, a great warm character, and a very sensible user interface and universal remote (it put my Pronto out to pasture). Don't overlook this one on 7.1 vs. 6.1 alone. NAD can be a bit tough to find/audition, but it's worth the effort. Todd
