  1. thanks fellas, the room is 15x20 and is open to the dining room which is 15x10, I was thinking of placing 1 sub in each corner of the room, was looking at 2 SVS-16-46PC-Plus with the built in Basch 525 watt RMS Amp, would that be overkill for my size room, I hear 2 subs is better than one sub, thanks again.
  2. and what about the SVS CS-Ultra Cylinder Subwoofer System with the Passive Sampson 1000 amplifier or the SVS CS-Plus Powered Cylinder Subwoofer system with the 525 watt bash amp , how do the Cylinder Subs compare to the Cube subs, yes I know I am asking for alot of info, but I want to make the right choice especially when I will be forking over more than one grand $$$$, thanks again.
  3. which one would be the better choice, I will be using it for movies and lot's of music, both are priced very similar and seem to be on par performance wise, but which one does the better job of playing music and movies, I don't want a rattle box, I want a solid and stiff sound, I was also looking into the SVS PE-17 Parametric Equalizer, do I really need one and does it make a difference, and how do you connect it, does it connect to the receiver-amplifier Onkio in my case or does it connect straight to the sub, I am new to this home theater stuff so please bearwith me, thanks again.
  4. well now I know where I will order my new subwoofer from, thank you.
  5. does anyone here own a Velodine SPL-800 series, and how does it perform, it's rated 1200 watts dynamic and 600 watts (RMS), thanks again.
  6. just don't let the wife or girlfriend get their hands on one of those babies, you might never see them again
  7. thanks EAR, I will go check one of those babies out.
  8. yes size is importand, my living room is 15'x30', I don't want to kill the space by one sub, how did the sunfire sound to you, and what do you think about the Velodine series of subs, their high end subs are a bit pricey but how do their medium end subs perform, thanks again.
  9. I am looking for something that will do both, music "faster response time" and movies slower response time, I want the best of both worlds, will this sub do the job, and what about the models I posted before, are any of them any good, thanks again.
  10. where can I find one of these babies, do they have a web site or retailer, thanks again.
  11. $1000-1500, this will be a purchase that will hopefully last me a long time, I want to make the best decision possible.
  12. here are my few choices, Infinity Intermezzo 1.2s 850watts(RMS), Definitive SuperCube I at 1500 watts, a Sunfire Super Junior Subwoofer rated at 1500 watts, or an Earthquake Super Nova MKIV 580 watts, I will be getting rid of this cheesy KSW-10 sub that I am running at the moment, I will be coupling one of those subs with my Klipsh Synergy Quintet micro system, the sound that comes out of these little babies is unreal, anyways, which sub would any of you recomend, I want to make a long term investment, no more cheesy subs for me, thanks again.
