  1. Hey! I too. But have not managed 5 into 1-- Bisleys, NOS Remington 225gr semi(no press). Mark Is the thread drifting? Sorry--
  2. Max, Really appreciate the offer. Not sure if my dial-up will handle it! But will forward my e-mail-- If you get a chance: just an e-mail with some names and titles would be terrific. That would solve my problem of sorting out recordings the local folks with good sensibilities think have merit, from the top 40 radio hits. I am sure they could be found on-line. Do the Greeks and Turks press any vinyl? Thanks! Mark
  3. Thanks Craig and Max! (yes Max, I humor him along for the soldering....), I only get to listen to it via headphones plugged into the desktop: sounds very good. Short of burning a CD--no way to listen via my real system. This stuff actually interests me as music (not a low frequency challenge). As a student (mid 70's) I was surrounded by middle-eastern kids listening to the strange sounding music which they liked. Back then I listened to Jazz and Rock and their music went right by me (honestly: I hated it). Now....wish I knew more about it. And how about those Bing Crosby upper mordants? Mark
  4. Mike, I think the confusion is because while Klipsch label the Forte (Chorus, et al) as Heritage there is a dissenting opinion, which divides speakers designed primarily by Klipsch himself, from those upon which he had only peripheral influence. That division also splits along the same line as the ply/screw vs MDF/glue construction. So, in that view Forte/Chorus fall outside Heritage. Mark
  5. Max, Brilliant! Yes. Please post more. How is your knowledge on Greek popular song? Is this a 'traditional' Turkish lyric--or is she a singer/songwriter, contemporary type? Whatever the lyric is....she seems to be connecting with it. Thanks. Mark
  6. Khorn: Mike Urban is in Milford, Conn. and will do a Scott alignment. His web site is http://urban-antiqueradio.com He is a good guy (and provides high value per dollar), and knows Scott stuff. Craig heard my 350 right after Mike did an alignment--you can ask him for his opinion (he liked it).... Mark
