yeah i tihnk that i was the firt person to mod my cable, like a year and a half ago for my speaks (i could be wrong) what i did is just take off all that superfluos radio crap stuff and solder the wires to the respective ends...then wrap the with electrical wire so they areinsulated...there you go...all done. vader ------------------ BRING ON THE POWER!

no, this is not true...the GTXP will take a stereo output and take it to 4 channels...i have one trust me...and with the new Driver release it will to the same thing for 5.1 channels...can wait for that with my 5.1s vader ------------------ BRING ON THE POWER!

Hi i was interested in buying a new GTXP and found it on www.pricewatch.com for about 115, does anyone know what brown box means though? ENPC.com the people that i am thinking of buying it from are telling me that the item is a brown box item... is this worth it? ------------------ BRING ON THE POWER!

Hi! i just sold my Klipsch 4.1s, Sound Card, and Cable (Monster) to a friend for 350. and here i am sittin on my computer...wit no sound. Consequestly, i am forced to look at the beatiful picture of the 5.1s and dream of the day that they will be in stock. O yeah the point of my post...Sound Cards, everyone has one, i need one. What is a good card, i was just looking for a cheap OEM SB LIVE! 5.1, but what is all of this i hear about the Game Theatre XP? Who makes it, and is the sound quality really better than the SBLIVE!? is this actaully an accepted sentiment? On the first will only the website be selling the 4.1s or will every retailler, because i really dont wanna pay 20 dollars or more for shipping. when i ordered my first pair of pros, i ordered them from www.outpost.com but since then those morons got rid of their free shipping deal. and what is this that i always here about the Game Theatre being able to take Stero Sound and distribute it to 5 channels, can the 5.1 SBL do that? o well. please get back to me, thanks Vader ------------------ BRING ON THE POWER!

hi everybody, i havent posted in quite a while, but i have a question... i currently have a setup that incorporates the 4.1s and a SB Live (non 5.1) and for some odd reason i have read in numerous places that a 4.1 setup is not supported in Win2K. Whenever i try to configure either Power or Win DVD i cannot check the 4.1 setup, and when i read the ReadMe, i found out that Win2K doesnt support a surround sound setup...will the same thing go for the 5.1 system? I mean if i buy the 5.1s and a new Live 5.1, wi ll WIn2K give me the option? thanks for reading this, and hopefully you can answer my question... Vader ------------------ BRING ON THE POWER!

hey everybody... I finally got my internet connection back, so i downloaded my Sound Card drivers. initially they worked, and now thry do not. i do not get sound from either the front or rear right channle, i have looked at all be balances, they are all in the center. Whats the deal? I unplugged em and replugged em and now i get no right channel sound. PLease help...thanks
