well,as someone who is at the ripe "old" age of 33,it's not that bad. Although it is a far cry from 18 its not exactly over the hill. If i've learned anything, it's to slow down and enjoy your home life.My daughter started first grade this year and it seems like only yesterday I was at the hospital bringing her home for the first time. Not to get too sentimental, but time never moves so fast as when you have young children. While working overtime and trying to "achieve" you sometimes lose track of the people you're trying to achieve for. One of my greatest joys is to see my daughter walk over to the cd rack and pull a Steely Dan or Replacements cd out and say "play it loud dad" and then proceed to sing along. Anyway, enough. My point, if you look close sometimes what seems like the everyday drudgery and routine can give you the greatest satisfaction if you aalow it to. happy birthday!
