RC-7! I have the RB-5II's and to my ear they are great. Sure, the Rc-7 is -4 or something but they do plend.

Here in tampa there doesnt seem to be much of anything on Klipsch products on craigslist.
Wish I knew, you lived in Tampa. I have some perfect ksf-8.5's that are in their boxes in mint. I also have a Yammy 650 that is going on ebay as soon as I get motivated. =)

I have a opportunity to purchase some Monitor audio rs6's. I have RB-5II's now. Has anyone heard these and can make a recommendation? I don't know what to do. I just listened toJanis Ian's All Roads To The River and It's hard for me to belive that anything could sound better than those Rb-5II's. Hmmm, what to do. Lol

Can someone tell why there are so many refurbished AVR's out there? I hear they are awsome but I'm a bit worried.

I was reading some posts and I came across this. Building a Home theater, Went to Listen to some Speakers, Unimpressed, Help. And I bet you they werent set up properly.

I have a pair of KSF-8.5's. They are collecting dust. I did love them and that's why, I still have them. They are great! You will be very suprised with the sound. It was when klipsch made everything good! Before BB came into the picture. You could only get them in a sound advise type store. Good luck! And I say yes buy it! You won't be sorry!

I was at best buy today looking for a hdmi-hdmi cable. Yes, I was at luch and mostly just killing time. I saw the new RF-82 and RF-62. They could not get the 82's to work. They said the dvd player broken. So, they asked if I wanted to hear the 62 and said sure. I was very disappointed! It sounded like crap. I said, this sounds bad and the salesperson said let's try the definitive speakers. He hits the button and they sounded 10 times worse! Then he switc\hed them back and the 62's sounded so much better then the def's it was crazy. The def were like $599 each.
They were playing on a yammy, like a $399. gig. This is coming from a place that coundn't hook up the 82's for me. Can someone tell me that the 62's don't sound that bad and it was just the setup that they had! The construction of the new speakers stinks, like mass produced! What has our speaker company done? After hearing these speakers, you can't tell me that the rf-7's won't blow any new speaker away that klipsch makes. I got rid of my rb-35's and went with rb-5II's all the way around for this same thing! The sound was that much better. I have them with an rc-7. Not a great system but my god I was disappointed with the new stuff.
But maybe It was the place, that's why I posted this so someone can set me straight. I hope, I'm wrong about this, I really do.

I just got them in and it's a perfect match! After 3 tries from best-buy, I got them from B & H.

When the game is on and it's loud and they switch to a commerical! It is unbearable! What can I do?

Yes, it's only on cbs, during live broadcasts. Any sporting event. The Gators are on there alot and it's going to drive me crazy. When I turn the center off, the noise is gone. If I hook up another speaker to the center, it's there.
So, next saturday, let me know if you get this noise during a hd broadcast of a football game.

I get this hissing noise from my RC-7. Only on CBS'S HD broadcasts live football games. It's the only channel that does this. It did it last year as well. Any ideas would be helpful. It's driving me nuts. =)

Yes, that was what I was looking for. I also have the cherry Rb-5II's and they look great. I was just wondering if the maple was the same. It looks like it is.

Bru, How much better is the Rc-7? Is the sound that much of a difference?

With the prices of the Rc-7's going down. Should I sell my Rc-35 and get a 7? Your help in this matter, is very needed.
