  1. Yea........ I can look at factory specs all day, But I put alot more into the opinions on the board. you guys that have had this stuff and used it and compared it sure save me alot of time and MONEY...... Thanks
  2. Thanks for the info guys. the 3800 is out of stock right now at ecost, But I may wait a while and see if they get some later. If not I may just go with a 2200. and the PS audio stuff was ineresting as well...lol
  3. I was looking at all the refurb Denons at ECOST and everyone is talking about the 2200 and the 2900, but I hardley ever hear mention of the 3800. Is it out dated already or what ? I just thought it would go with my 3802 like a matching set. has anyone compared these. Oh yea... dvda and hdaudio are not really that important to me at this point as much as movies.
  4. Has anyone compared these two subs........ These are the only two I am interested in, Because I already own the SVS, But always wondered if I am missing something by not getting the RSW-15. only because the rest of my stuff is reference 7 all the way around. with denon 3802. the thing is I have no lack of low freq at all, half way up it is very powerful and could not imagine needing more , but sometimes think it lacks real PUNCH for music. Movies I have no complaints about. thanks
  5. My surrounds now ( I think they are synergy series wall speakers) are on the back wall behind me about 7 feet and about 6 feet high. they are in the corners but are faceing forward not at each other
  6. I am trying to decide between these two for surround speakers. I am useing RF-7 and RC-7 for front powered by a Denon 3802 room is about 16' x 24' useing older Kilpsch wall speakers now that sound pretty good, just want reference to match up with the front . thanks guys.............
  7. I most definatly have it hooked up right. I have been useing it over year now ( OUT OF WARRANTY ) It is hooked up with both video and S-video . I finally reset the microprocessor and now I can make it come on sometimes, but when it does there is only a screen full of 0's like this... 0000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 0000000000000000000 and then it goes off. this is where I would usually see the menue. and ALOT of stuff you can not adjust without this menue. sub controls, spkr sizes and lots of surround stuff. Thanks for all the advice, but it looks like a call to Denon is in order. anyone know the # for their customer service..............
  8. I have it hooked up to the monitor a/v and S-video that is why I see it flash up sometimes when I change sources. It just wont pop up when I push setup or OSD button. I may have to try resetting the microprocessor, I am just afraid I will loose the settings I do have. some options I just can't figure out with out seeing the menue.
  9. I chose this receiver after hours and hours of research on this site. thanks for all the input. I really like this receiver alot, but a few days ago my on screen display went out. I don't think it is just not pushing the RIGHT button. I have had it over a year and use it all the time. I can't get it to show up at all and the few times it did FLASH up it was just a whole screen full of ( 0's ) and then dissapears. as far as I can tell the sound has not been afected, but there is ALOT that you can not adjust without this option. AS many people that own this reciever on this site. I was hopeing that someone would have some suggestions..................thanks
