  1. MY FRIEND GIL You are not long winded and some-one in Cyberspace has benefitted from your knowledge and technical answers. Now for the next problem and answer.... BRYANBART
  2. GIL Thanks again! That was the short answer??? I couldn't have asked for more. The house anology was kind of funny to me. I had to go out on my deck outside and wail a loud laugh. You see, I'm retired from Toronto Hydro for 27 years service and I know quite a bit of hydro power distribution. Electronics and audio has been a hobby practically all my life. I guess I'm the kind of person who really knows the answer to a question, but I just like to "bounce" it off a real professional, just to find - "OH. That's correct". BEST REGARDS Bryan
  3. Many thanks GIL. You have been very, very helpful. I admire your knowledge of audio electronics. I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION. I hope it doesn't seem too simple. If I were to use two tweeters in one speaker cabinet, hook them in series, 6ohms + 6ohms (resulting in a 12ohm load), would I design the crossover as if it was seeing a 12ohm speaker driver and would the two 6ohm tweeters share the amplifer load 50% each or 100% power to each driver? Thanks. BRYANBART
  4. Thanks JEROHM. I THOUGHT THE KLIPSCH CROSSOVER WOULD BE MORE COMPLICATED. ---------------- On 10/5/2003 5:51:47 PM jerohm wrote: this might help. It is not very clear. I know the lowpass 'C' is 80uf. I am not sure if the inductor in the tweeter high pass is 1.6mH or maybe 1.8mH. Maybe someone else knows for sure. The T2A is an autoformer (maybe still? available from Klipsch) used to match (cut) the output of the K-61-K to that of the K-10-K woofers. j ----------------
  5. Have you thought possibly the problem might be in your amplification, music source or equalization? Are you introducing distortion or clipping that you are not aware of. Just a thought.
