  1. Hey Pexeter. Welcome to the forum. We rarely post here. Mainly a lurker. We had the same problem ourselves looking for owners of the KLIPSCH THX Ultra2 system. We bought ours w/o listening to these beauties. Bought on the review from the Robb Report Home Entertainment mag. This is a killer system IMO dedicated to movies and some music! For us we watch 98% movies with 2% music. We have the 7.1 set-up: KL-650 LCR Left Center Right, KL-525 LR rear surrounds, KS-525 LR side rear surrounds, KA-1000 amp with 2 qty KW-120 subwoofers. We are still in the infant stages of setting stuff up. All other speakers will be powered by the INTEGRA DTR-10.5. Pictures and more in-depth detail on our website. Pardon the garden of wires seen. We have a long ways to go in our research. :-) We have a 100" motorized 4:3 projection screen which is set to stop at 16:9 ratio. SANYO PLV-Z4 LCD projector and more doo hickeys. I'm still a newbie learning BUT will help out as best to my knowledge. http://www.80skid.com/SanctuaryHTFlashIntro.htm
  2. Hey Psylocke, Save, eBay, sell the dog kids, car whatever. J/K. We have the complete Klipsch THX Ultra2 7.1 config. Bought our full set-up on April 8, 2005. They sure take up helluva lot of room BUT worth every penny IMO. Perfect match all around. You can find pics of our goodies on our website for your reference. Stacked in a huge wall fashion awaiting installation sometime this late 2005. Hopefully sooner.
  3. Hi everyone FYI, Even the Klipsch THX Ultra2 line is Made in China. The speakers are all Made in China e.g. KL-650, KL-525, KS-525. Also the KA-1000 subwoofer 1000 watt amplifier is Made in Taiwan. Wish they were Made in the USA ALA the Aragon Amp and pre/pro line. Was not a deal breaker for us. It would have been a big plus though :-) Enjoy the speakers either way.
  4. Hi Paul, IMHO THX Ultra2 system all the way. We purchased our 7.1 configuration on March 2005 BUT have not even tested them yet :-( We have PICS of the BEASTS on our website. They are "Lord of the Horns". They've only been out of the box for photographs. Looking to do a full review writeup near the end of the year once we locate the rest of our HT equipment. Hopefully sooner but for now they are on standby.
  5. A quick digital camera snapshot of the article #2 of 2. Enjoy as we are planning to buy a 6.1 or 7.1 system.
