Right, $12,000 is alot! Getting back to your question; I don't think I could do justice to explaining the differences. The AVSFORUM has specific areas that detail each TV type and people's preferences.

I got the RC-7 for my birthday and all I can say is HOLY Freakin Moly!!! It is better than I ever imagined. It sounds amazing even paired with my SP-1's and SS-1's. For those of you fortunate enough to have one know and those of you who don't have one-buy one, TODAY. The difference is in the detail!!! I could go on and on but will spare you.

Thanks for the posts. My birthday was yesterday and my wife bought me the Center RC-7. So it's a done deal. I hope it sounds good paired with my SP-1's and back SS-1's. X'mas is not too far off.....

I want to start to update my Home Theatre. I have Synergy everything and want to upgrade. (BTW, one of my friends has a total rKlipsch reference surround system and I'm afraid I need to keep-up because his system sounds SO much better than mine!) The question is: Where do I start? I also have a Denon 1802 A/V receiver (or, do I start with the receiver?) Your comments/suggestions would be much appreciated!!! Dave in Modesto
