  1. I agree w/ ironwoods about the stands. If there's anyway you can get the wires back there, put some bookshelf speakers (RB-75s would match your others) on stands. I've seen several pics w/ rear speakers on stands. Another option would be to get some ceiling mounts for your rear speakers. Vantagepointcorp.com has some and they've been nice to deal w/ so far. (I've emailed them asking about mounting configurations and have gotten very quick helpful replies.) I wouldn't go w/ the in-wall/ceiling speakers unless I absolutely had to. John
  2. Also check Vantage Point. Their extended mounts may fit the bill. John
  3. I'm going to be purchasing some RB-25s in the near future and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a pair of stands for $100 or less. Thanks, John
  4. I have used the S&V disc and there are several people that swear by the AVIA disc. It definitely helped me get a better picture out of my HDRPTV. Are you contemplating using it for video calibration or sound or both? The majority of people use them for the video, but they do have some useful sound tools (e.g., phase check, cross-over check, etc.), too. John
  5. My favorite isn't on this list: "Norah Jones: Live in New Orleans". The video is pretty good but the sound is really good. John
  6. I have a set of Quintets and a KSW-10, but not a Samsung receiver. The Quintets w/ the sub sell for $800 @ Best Buy and I feel they're worth every penny of that. If you can get them for $200 cheaper and a "free" receiver to boot, you can't hardly go wrong. $0.02, John
