  1. Did we forget that the reference series is internally wire with monster cables. they might be ok if klipsch decided to use monster. We can all agree that klipsch is a very nice sounding speaker i hope.
  2. YOUR DIGITAL OUT IN THE BACK OF YOUR DVD PLAYER SENDS THE SIGNAL TO YOUR RECEIVER FOR DD AND DTS PLAY BACK. THE 5.1 ANALOG IS FOR DVD AUDIO AND SACD PLAY BACK ASSUMING YOUR DVD PLYER CAN PLAY THESE FORMATS. SO YOU DO NEED THE ANALOG 5.1 FOR DVD AUDIO AND SACD AND THE DIGITAL FOR YOUR DVDS MOVIES.
  3. NO QUESTION IS A DUMB QUESTION,YOU CAN USE EITHER ONE TOP OR BOTTON MAKE SURE YOU CONNET RED TO RED AND BLACK TO BLACK.

    ATI AMPS

ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH ATI AMPS AND THE REFERENCES SERIES.
  5. Thanks, right now iam looking at the parasound Halo A23 THX Ultra-2 125w per channel for $850 at Good Guys.
  6. I have the DENON 3802 110 watts per channel, if i was to run my fronts with the same 110w or even 100w per channel from a 2 channel amp. How much of a improvement would i get assuming i get a good amp (rotel,b&k,parasound) just to name a few.

  8. Less than a year old, upgrading to references. Paid $279 and $399. Asking $350 plus shipping
  9. The R35 is the new version of the Rf3II. The R35 retail for about $1000 at good guys, the RF3II is on sale for $600 at reliableaudiovideo.com
  10. Thaks, allways very helpfull. The only reason i mention the rf3 is because they're available on line for $600 at reliableaudiovideo.com.
  11. On 11/14 I posted my first topic asking advice on a center speaker to match my rp3 towers and the feed back was good and helpfull. The recommendations were between the rc7 and the rc3. I went with the rc3 $179 vs $700 for the rc7 at good guys. I couldn't resist the price. My gear consist of the denon 3802,denon 1600 dvd player and synergy for surround. Now I want to go reference for the surrounds.Does it make sense to move my rp3 to the back and get some rf3 with dual 8" woofers for the fronts or go with the conventional rs3?
  12. My question is about the type of analog cables being used. What's a good rule of thumb for buying cables, I'am lookig at the DENON-2900 or anything in that price range. What's a good match for that kind of player.
  13. A kees guy where are you located
  14. Ok Darren, first things first, as far as separates vs integrated and receivers go, is that the amplification and the processor share the same chassis vs a separate amp having more room for bigger internal parts and amplification for more power.I have read in this forum that yamaha is not a good match for klipsch, personally I prefer denon their highend receiver offer 170x7,Sunfire ultimate receiver offers 200x7.When talking amps B&K gets alot of prasis in this forum, rotel, parasound, adcom, are also very good, power range between 125to200 watts per channel. If you take this route you will need a processor remember price was not a limitation.Good luck

Is there any tv that can play 1080i and 720p in its native resolution without up or down conversion.I understand lcds and dlps down convert 1080 to720 and rptv do the opposite.which resolution is better.
  16. where can i find best deal for rc7
  17. Ok one more ? the distance from the center to the listeing position is 10'. The room dimentions are 15'x16'. I just want to get the best possible match, so I buy only one time.
  18. Thanks for the info,i think iam heading in that direction.
  19. I would like to get a center speaker to match my rp3 towers. I am looking at the rc3 and rc35. Is the rc7 with its 8" woofers an over match for my rp3 towers. Recommendations please.
