  1. Thanks, but I'm looking for the discontinued Original Promedia 5.1, non ultra that are THX certified. I guess I should have specified that. I did use the search on both the forums and the main site, as well as going through the main site to what type of speakers they were, but was unable to locate anything for this system.
  2. I've looked everywhere, I can't find anything that specifies what the speakers are capable of handling. I'm looking for something like this. frequency response xxHz-xxkHz +/-xdB power handling xxxW RMS / xxxW Peak sensitivity xxdB @ x.xxV / xm nominal impedance x ohms compatible
  3. Hrm, seems they get a lot of this, here is from the FAQ: What is the circuit orientation for the three mini plugs? Tip=Left/Center Middle=Right/LFE ________ So I suppose I can mod not the sub, but the cable to connect to a normal receiver. Thoughts?
  4. Let me get this straight, The DD 5.1 connects to a Promedia 5.1 how? Solely by using 3 cables, that are RCA on one end, and 1/8" on the other? How does the DD 5.1 control the volume? How does the DD 5.1 power the Promedias on and off? The Promedia control box still has to be connected to Subwoofer in order to control volume and power? Or am I completely wrong in assuming this and the DD 5.1 connects using the G9? If I am correct, I'm not forking out $170.00 bucks for a decoder that solely decodes. One that makes me get off my butt and turn the speakers up or down, or off. That's rediculous! I'd rather buy a $200.00 Sony Receiver and mod the subwoofer to always stay on. Someone clue me in here.
