Your points are exactly what I wanted to hear. I will be looking to getting an SVS sometime in the next few month or so.

From what I have herd the RW-12 does a pretty good job at your typical music levels ie. 25hz and above. I would like to find out from someone who has gone from a klipsch 12" sub to an SVS, what the differences are? Is it worth the extra money spent for the sub?

I agree with what you say about it not comparing to high dollar DVD players. I just suggested it because it is cheep and a pretty good quality picture. Then again depending on the rest of his system he might not need the full 1080 signal. If he does not have a high definition TV he would not be getting the full use out of a product like this.

just to let you know that sub needs to be broken in. Also get a good signal to the sub. If you are running cheep wire to the sub then you will not get the full potential out of it. Good luck on getting more out of it. My sub took hours on end to break in. Its just now starting to sound better and its been almost a year. Then again I dont really get a chance to turn it up loud enough to break it in. (apartment)

Depending on what kind of display device will greatly depict what kind of DVD player you are going to need. My roomate has a 34" widescreen that is High Def. I also have a projector so I wanted something that would upconvert the image to a full 1080i. All DVD's are in 480i.... which is NOT high definition! I got the zenith DVB 318. Its around the 200 price range. I'd personally pay twice the price for the quality image that it delivers. Its a night and day difference on the projector. I'm now fully satsfyed with my purchase.

I have been in the market for the past few days. After listening to some klipsch speakers my mind has been made up. I purchased a RC25 center chanel speaker today. It was a close out sale for $175. I'm also planning on the RF25 or RF35? I'm not sure which ones are better. I have not listened to either of them yet. I can get the RF25 for $575 plus shipping, or the RF35 for $700??? Which ones would you recomend? Also I was planning on matching an RW12 subwofer to the system ($459+ shipping). I got a Yamaha RXV 630 on 1/2 price sale at good guys for $250 (regular price $500). Any suggestions before I purchase these floor speakers and the sub? Which ones would go together better?
