  1. Now that I think about it, the Titanic MkIII sounds like the best bang for the buck. Thanks for all your help guys.
  2. Wow that looks awesome. Great job.
  3. That is one expensive amp. 798.55 at PE. Is 1024 watts not enough? Is there a better amp for 400, plate or not. The advantage over the Titanic is only distortion. I read on adire's web site it moves 5 liters of air, the Titanic only up to 3. I like bass, and not having a working sub is buggin' me.
  4. Nope, decided on a sub for now. Can't stand not having one. Just bugs me.
  5. So your saying that the amp is not enough for the Tumult. My room is small, 10 1/2x10 1/2x8 ft.
  6. What amp are you using to drive the Tumult(I love that name, along with Titanic, they sound strong). The description on the Titanic kit says I can get 115dB of bass output. Is this true? Does the 4 dB of sensitivity make a big diff? i don't tend to listen to music loudly, but movies I do. Thanks for you and Formica's help.
  7. I was looking at the Tumult, and it looks sweet. Would it be much of an upgrade over the 15" MkIII? Used with the same amp of course. Then I would have to build my own box. But is it that much better? 198.66 for the Titanic and 499 for Tumult.Considerabley more. Is it worth it? I would have to save up a helluva lot more money.
  8. Would it be better to buy the kit instead f build my own box? I have no experience with this and the kit looks easy. What is the internal volume of the box in the kit? Dimensions: 19-1/8" W x 19-1/8" H x 19-3/8" D . I don't know how to figure out volume so bare with me. The price of the components if bought seperate is right around $599, amp and sub. It's only another $88 for the box in the kit, is it worth it or is it cheaper building my own? Remember i have no experience with building boxes.
  9. Is this what your looking for. http://www.klipsch.com/media/Products/RW_Sub.pdf
  10. I have also been inspired. A DIY sub would be an awesome project to do over summer vacation. the driver I was thinking about using is a 15" Titanic MkIII and a 1000 watt plate amp from Parts Express. I don't think I have the money for anything you guys built, so thats what I've come up with to start. Any suggestions for me? I want to go sealed first, it's my first box I will have ever built. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&PartNumber=295-420&DID=7 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-808
  11. Since Klipsches have a high sesitivity rating, would amps make a difference over a regular reciever like mine. I was thinking about a Parasound amp, would this be woth the extra money for my 25's? Any help is appreciated and welcomed. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/dependableav/panewhc.html
  12. Very nice. Can't even see the speaker wire on the right speaker.

    New Sub

Which sub is going to be the best at movies and music, more so on music but almost equal. The Klipsch RSW-10 or the SVS PB1-ISD.
  14. Allright, what is a good sub, my room is fairly small. I was thinking of the two I mentioned but the SVS is lower in price. From what I've heard they're great. A Klipsch sub would be great too.
  15. Maybe an RSW-10 or SVS PB1-ISD,but I would like to chang the center because the bass is good for now(I have a sub but it's not worth mentioning).
  16. I was wondering what my biggest improvement would be for HT. I was thinking the center but want to be sure. I was looking at the RC-25, but Klipsch reccomends the RC-35, would the RC-25 be okay? By the way these speakers are awesome! Klipsch all the way!
