Sony STR DE995 receiver. Sony confirmed this model does not have internal cross-over adjustments. Klipsch recommended same as you did ... connect to RW12 line in L/R inputs to control crossover with the sub. Thanks for your feedback.

My concern after reading the RW12 manual was "if you connect to the sub's LFE input you bypass the sub's internal crossover and should only be done the crossover can be managed internally by the receiver"

Thanks, Wonder why this receiver has a sub pre-out if it doesn't have cross over capability. Is pre-out for connecting up to a another unit that has this capability?

How do I connect my RW12 sub to a receiver that doesn't have built-in sub crossover controls? Before I read the receiver manual I was told to connect where I have a sub cable from receiver sub-out jack to sub LFE jack plus speaker cable from receiver front speaker jacks to sub terminals. After reading the receiver manual and not seeing any sub cross controls should I not be using the sub cable to the LFE?

How do I connect my RW12 to a receiver that doesn't have sub crossover controls? The receiver has speaker size and volume level controls only. Receiver manual calls out "bass redirection circuitry" but doesn't really define how this works as it relates to interconnecting the receiver and the sub.

From receiver back through the wall then down to the crawl space then underneath the floor to other side of the room then up and out thru that wall...basically burying all speaker cable.

Does anybody know the thread size on the backside of RS35s? Bought Omnimount 20.0 speaker mounts today. Their 3/8" - 16 insert was too big a diameter. Klipsch site had no spec data. Thanks

Thanks. My plan is to route speaker cable thru walls out to these RS35s. I also may have a need to tilt these speakers...which is why I'm looking at these ball mount designs vs screw. Any experience in routing speaker cable?

Need to wall mount rs35s. What products are out there that fit the threaded insert and hold the 10 lbs?
