  1. Thanks Michael, to answer your question, no I did not change the woofers out. They are k-43 200 watt woofers and they sound the same as a standard k-33. No better, no worse, just an extra 100 watt capacity that most likely will never be utilized. The cabinets are birch ply just like the standards only with a whole lot of screw holes. Just wondering, Why would anyone want such massive overkill as fiberglass cabs with 400 watt woofers? Are you in a Band? Justin

  3. Thought you guys might like to see my oiled oak veneered LaScalas. They were the old camera wrinkle finished black,(Pros)with the aluminum trim. Great for the stage but unacceptable for the home. With these grills, I was able to have them veneered to the back of the V and not have to deal with the dust-bunny hotel farther back, that is so hard to work in. They still have the pure LaScala look, yet are much more accectable to the women (classy) in the family.(provided top grills are installed also) They're made by King Restoration. Justin

Name your $$$ and we will pay it or not. 'sweeten the deal', what am I supposed to send my sister around to your place, wax your car or what????? If the $$ aint' right say so! ---------------- Mr. colterphoto1, If your the "forum folks" expert that you seem to claim to be, You would know that these have been posted on 8-30 under for sale. The price for these is $3,000.00 DUDE.Pics have been available, and members thought the price was fair.Unlike you, Roy understood what sweeten the deal meant, and he did. But because he didn't hit 3000 the two LaScala traders get first dibs,as they were first anyway. Now if you want them show up at my house with $3,000.00 cash and they'll be yours DUDE. As for your sister, sure, bring her along. Justin

  7. Hello Mark, Please give me a call about these speakers. 314-353-7409. Something should be able to be worked out. Thanks, Justin I believe GA is only four hours from St Louis, I'm five min. off I-55.
  8. The fact that someone can't make a reasonable offer for these is certainly a mystery. I called Klipsch and they told me they are 1993. He said blk LAC now is not an upcharge. However,he could not refute or confirm the case back in 1993. Which means black is a personal preferance, and in no way worth less than other color combinations. I feel that someone suggesting one color combo,is worth less because it's not the same color as the ones they own, is inapropriate. Please refrain from this, it surely didn't help me make a sale. And telling me BLK LAC wasn't a $500 extra charge is calling me dishonest. And what is this piano finish crap? No top of the line Stienway would ever use rough oak wood for a mirror finish. Come on guys get real. I'll still consider LaScalas as partial trade,or a reasonable offer. Thanks, to everyone's input. These K-horns have been SOLD!!! You can look but no longer buy. Justin
  9. Oh the fantastic Bose 901, It's what my college roommate told me when we rented a house. Well, I moved my Khorns in too, we hooked them all into the same system,a wall of speakers. Of course all the music we played you could not even hear those 901's cranked up just a little, you would have to put your ear right up to the grills of the 901's just to tell if they were playing, they are so inefficient. Needless to say, my friend was furious and packed them back in there boxes. Luckily, after many weeks I found an ad for a pair of LaScalas, He called and ran to get them as if his life depended on it. He was then a happy camper. That's all for now. Justin1

The Bissell uphostery cleaner that comes in the blue can with the brush head will do a great job at making them look new again so you can get top dollar for them. ---------------- Their not that dusty, are they?

With tax a new pair is $8,143.00. $4000 for excellent and then less for flaws ect, is how it should be. Many of these top speakers never even make it to market, because they get sold to family and friends. I think that when "bargin hunters" brag how cheep they got top of the line speakers, they are stabing themselves and everyone else in the back. Because if they decide to sell their own, they won't bring what they should. Let the bargin hunters buy the beat-up ****ty speakers, and the rest of us know you get what you pay for. When I sold my LaScalas they went to my long time friend. Because he was my friend I gave him a deal, He said no they're worth more than that, and gave me an extra $800. Thats what you call fair dealings. That's it for now. Justin

  13. BLC LAC has nothing to do with a piano finish. the purpose is to show the oak grain. khorns are not pianos!!!
