  1. In answer to you question, I'm not sure what the alternatives are to the pre-made cables. If you are so inclined, you could make them yourself. Why Klipsch used the 1/8" plug configuration on the back of the satellites is beyond me. Logitech uses screw posts so the user can use any wire. That makes tons more sense to me, since a screw binding post gives a more secure connection.
  2. I like my Klipsch; I think behind most of these posts is an owner that wouldn't trade them for anything in it's class. It's just really disconcerting when something you really appreciate and have come to rely on suddenly dies on you and then find many others who report simular problems. Before my purchase I did lots of online research and am glad I settled on the Promedia and after using them, would do it again. Right now though, I have no sound and that's a drag. Have owned them for 13 mos, so warrany is out of the question.
  3. If anyone has a pod that no longer works, I need the 8-pin din cable.
  4. You are talking about the connector cable from the sub to the preamp control pod that mounts under one of the satelites? If so, does it have the standard connectors on each end?
