How come all you guys prefer a speaker like say.. The Forte II's over the refrence line? Can I get better for the money?

Well. I hear the Fortes really shine and sound better than chorus's in rooms that are small, under 12' wide. Like mine. And I do prefer a flatter response over the live sound of the cornwalls. I feel its more realistic for music. I get tired of that live sound very quickly.

But the Forte II? It uses the Tractix horn, just like an RF-5. But it has a more neutral sound. To each their own I guess. And on AR Fortes get a 4 something out of 5 too.

Can you just sell me the Fortes? I would much prefer that. And you can sell the Academy sepratley. The 2 fortes for $700.

Well a chorus 2 is not available to me now. But forte II's are. I heard they rock in small rooms. And I heard in small rooms they outpreform chorus's.

So how are the KG 5.5 highs in comparison to Forte II's. I understand they both use a Tractix horn but the forte is a 3-way and the kg is a 2-Way.
