  1. How would the ASDCOM GFA-7700 multi-channel amp (5 channels @ 175watts per) be compare to the B&K AV125.5( 5 channels@ 125 each) ??? Is the B&K a cleaner amp ?
  2. The ONLY differnce between these two amps is that the 200.5 = 200 watts per channel and the AV-6000 MKII is 125 per channel, correct ? ( I know the 6000 offers 6 channels and the 200.5 only has 5 channels ) ......Are the insides the same quality components?
  3. I am now interested in the B&K Reference series pre-amp and the 7 channel power amp, for my surround set-up .(please check my equipment list) My question is ...Can I use the Reference 20 or 30 (for 7.1)) instead of the Reference 50 pre-amp...or is there a MAJOR difference between these models ? (is there a lower model 7 channel amp available?) ~I love this Klipsch Forum ~ Thanx for all your feedback, everyone !
  4. I am thinking of getting a Yamaha RX-V3300 receiver... ...Does any one out there have one of these Yamaha's, to reassure me I am doing the right thing. I am getting rid of my Denon 3802 on EBay, if anyone is interested ! (It's the only Denon 3802 up on the EBay site, if ya wanna look) ...I was also thinking of getting a Harman . Any suggestions on a Harman model, for a complete surround-sound set-up? ( read my equipment profile) THANX !

  6. Pioneer Elite receivers vs.Yamaha RXV top of the line ? What goes better w/ the heresy II's. (an online dealers said the yamaha are too bright) Any Comments ?
  7. ...I want to thank everyone for their input on my "Hating my Heresy II's" topic. It truly has me thinking that the problem is my DENON head-unit. The last person whom posted told me that his DENON made his Heresy's sound incredibly FLAT. He suggested the Yamaha series...for a "day and night" difference. My question is ...What Is The Best Surround-Sound Amp by Yamaha...(RX-V650?)...or, any other BRAND under $1500 ?? Thank you...born2rock@pdq.net
  8. Thank you............this is what I thought all along. My Denon must be the problem....with everyone praising their Heresy's. I am pissed and want results out of my speaker investment. Thank you for your advice. ....Now what surround sound (7.1) do you recommend by Yamaha ? Peace, Please reply to: born2rock@pdq.net
  9. How much for each of my NEW in the box Heresy II, will you honestly offer me ?
  10. I bought a complete surround system w/ 7 Klipsch speakers. I am using 4 Klipsch Heresy II's for the front mains and sides. I have the Reference RS-7 for the rear channels and (i believe) the RC-7 for the center (I can't get to the back to see the model #). I am using the 2400 Watt dual-15 SUB. I am pleased w/ everything BUT the Heresy II's. They don't have any color, to me. I am using a DENON AVR-3802. I use it in the Dolby II mode when not listening to the surround DVD's. THe speakers sound so flat w/ no bottom and ...all horns with not enough highs. So in other words it sound too MID Range w/ a HORN sound. What have I done wrong ? These were highly recommended to me...so I trusted the person. MY mistake. Do I sell the Heresy II's , or sell everything and start over? Any suggestions ? If this is the normal characteristic of the Heresy II...then can you give me a different speaker suggestion that I can gives me more highs, less horn mids and more body on the lower-mids? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
