  1. The insulation can lay right on top of the speakers. You should take the facing off, the paper will vibrate if you leave it on. I would also use joint adheasive around the speakers to keep the sheetrock from vibrating.
  2. It's an old Sony 5 disc changer. I've been looking at a Denon 280, would there be any difference in sound quality using the coaxial connection.
  3. I just hooked up my new HT setup. When I play the CD player the sound does not come out of the rear speakers? Is there a way to get the sound to come out of all five speakers? The CD player only has an analog connection.
  4. Hey, I just bought a set of RCW-5's for the same reason. I will be installing this weekend, any tips on the install or wall preparation? How do they sound, any compairison to your old speakers?

  7. I'm getting ready to hook up my new system. RCW-5's in front, RCR-5's for the rear, RC-25 center and the RW-8. The receiver is a Yamaha RX-V740, the room is 14X22. Can I get some suggestions on the settings for the knobs on the back of the sub, phase etc.??? Also any suggestions on the settings for the front and rear speakers???
  8. I just purchased an RC-25, went to hook it up and found two sets of speaker wire terminals on the back??? My Yamaha RX-V740 only has one set of inputs for as center, it does have a rear center set also. Any comments on how to hook this up correctly???
  9. How do you wire these speakers. In the box there were two small screws, two lock washers and what appear to be two speaker wire connectors. I can't figure out where the wire connects to the speaker, The documentation that came with the speakers was a joke.
  10. I just opened the box to install these speakers. There were two small gold screws and two lock washers, it also came with what appear to be two speaker wire connectors. Where and how do I hook up the speaker wire, there are no directions for the install.

  13. I am getting ready to hook up my home theater system. Why would i hook up my DVD video to the receiver? Why not run the video connection directly to the tv, and run the audio to the receiver?
  14. I am setting up a 5.1 system in my living room. If i buy a receiver that is 6.1 or 7.1 will it run a 5.1 system OK??
  15. I need to use in wall speakers for my HT set-up. How does this sound?? RCW- 3 for the front and rear, RC 25 center and a RW 8 sub? What type of receiver would you suggest, how many watts of power? Thanks for your help.
