  1. I did the same thing and have an attick of decent but not great

audio some clown who knew nothing sold me. I was at Circuit City

and told a young lady in front of the salesman the floormodle 1,000.00 system she was buying wasn't what she wanted and told her

to add 500 and sent her to a better store.

  2. I called up some high end store who gave me some story why Krell and Klipsch are unnecessary. Two different types of sound. I gave Dean my RF7 crossovers. He was great, he sent me the new I sent back the old. It sounds better. More bass, less sparkle and wider

soundstage. A lot less then the new amp or Tuner I was chasing to get it right. I tried to get my wife to lay down next to me on the floor and get into the music but she told me to get a blowup doll and leave her alone. I should get a blow up sheep and tell her I'm into farm animals, that'l shut her up.

  3. This is nuts. I have been trying to get great two speaker stereo

sound and have an attick of disgarded components. This last venture really hurt the wallet but I lost my brain. At present I

am waiting for Deans crossovers but I have been laying on the floor in between these Rf7s with my Krell at 45 dbs and in heaven. If my wife knew what I spent I would be in hell. The speakers scream at you. My amp is a Krell 400xi with 200 wpc and monster m1000 ripoff wires. Another mindloss. But I hit the peverbial holy ****

sound and now can't spend my money chasing. My 14 yr old son and I

sit in front and play Monopoly playing todays rock on 92.3 and I think I detroyed his adolecent brain since he too will search for this sound when he is an old fart like his 1960s exhippie father.

    Rock on.

  4. I have a Krell 400xi integrated amp with m1000 interconnects and

signal cable biwiring. I just had my Marantz 8260 at high speed while I laid on the floor and dreamed about being on a beach with

this large busted, thin, lippy blond and my wife walked in. You can float anywere with Klipsch and Krell. Its a clean sounding brand with great bass and power to spare. Its not as neutral as tubes or some other brands I've heard but its forward sounding and powerful like many Klipsch speakers are.

  5. I have Klpsch Ref 7s, Velodyne sub, Krell 400xi, Top connectors,

Mac Tuner and Mac 8260 SACD. I am currently having my crossovers worked by Dean and looking forward to the results. The Tuner rocks

with all the bass I need. The SACD is flat and the Velodyne needs

to be turned up were that setting is fine with the Tuner. I am using an M1000 connector and Signal Power Cord and its still flat.

Any experience with this SACD. Am I too criticle or what?

  6. Dean, Will these new crossovers tame the highs on live music on my

Krell 400xi ss amp and Klipsch ref 7s. Tuner, Marantz, sounds fine. Best wiring includind M1000 and top speaker biwire. Even changes cord on SACD. Please if you can get me an address, price,

how long. Also, no mechanical genious. No sodering tools. Sure you got the picture.

  7. I have been saving up for reference 7 speakers and at last picked them up. I am driving them with a Krell 400ix int amp and a Marantz 8260 SACD. Decent equipment. I also have a Marantz Tuner which plays well, the voices controlled and smooth. The SACD plays live cds at a higher pitch. I have an inexpensive Realistic equalizer since the amp can't be controlled since there are no adjustment controls. I have no idea were to plug in the equalizer

since the Velodyne sub is plugged into the preouts. Do I need to

buy another cd player or is there a trick. I am also using M1000

Monster cables and upscale biwire speaker connects. Enough ramblings, any suggestions.

  8. I have been trying to get the right sound for my budget. I was running ref 3 speakers for sterio sound with a one year old Krell integrated amp. The amp has over 200 watts and can drive any speaker. Whats your experience with Krell and RF 7s. Any takers.

  9. I wrote a review on a small company called Signal Wire which went away so here it is again. Since we all try to get our systems right I just saved a speker upgrade. There is a very very reasonable audio cable and wire company I purchased biwire and cables from. I have a Krell amp, Marantz SACD, Klipsch speakers,Marantz Tuner and Velodyne sub. I went on the web after reading a review and pulled up Signal Cable and called Frank. I bought a new power cord, Digital, component connectors and their

top of the line biwire. Amazing results for under 250.00 for all.

The biwire made a wonderful difference and my speaker upgrade is off. Pull up their website and check out their reviews, I will be there soon. Signal Cable

  10. Signal Cable, Signal Cable, Signal Cable. The best cables and

most insane difference in the sound of my system. I have a Krell Amp, 8260 SACD, Velodyne Sub and Klipsch Speakers and my freind tossed 850.00 speaker wires for Cables 125.00 Shogun Biwire. I baught their digital electric cord for the SACD. Shogun for Biwire

and audio connectors. Ouch for my pal Bill since they indead are better than his first 850.00 set.I paid 250.00 for everything and now I am not upgrading my speakers. Ask for Frank and mention my name, Mark Osinoff, he will set you up. Signal Cable on the net

and you will get his website with products and reviews. Don't get anything till you check these babies out.

  11. This is about Klipsch. There is a small audio cable and wire company in New York who has made my Klipsch sound far better than

before with speaker wire and cables. He had great reviews and is 10 times cheaper than cable costing 800-1500.00. I bought a new

digital electric cord { for my Marantz 8260 SACD player], audio connectors and biwire cables for my speakers and spent in total

about 250.00< two speakers>. Unreal difference and no, I don't work there. On the web its Signal Cable and let Frank know Mark Osinoff recommended and he will know exactly were you are coming from. Check their website, Signal Cable.
