  1. Perhaps the synergy are priced per pair and the reference are priced per speaker?

    RF 3IIs

Thanks marksdad, but like I said, I have had the speakers for at least 8 months. I have had Klipsch all my life. No need for adjusting to the sound. I absolutely love them. I was just wondering if there was anything I could try to get any more out of them. Like I originally asked I was curious how people had their rf3IIs set up. Like 3 feet from the wall, or 6 inches from the wall, etc. and which gave better bass, mid, high, etc.

    RF 3IIs

thanks for the welcome...I have actually had these speakers for about a year now. I have RS3IIs as my surround sides, RB3s and my surround backs, RC3II as center, and 2 SVS PC+ 16-46 for subs. I currently have an rxv-1400 driving the system. Since I moved things around I need to recalibrate everything again and I was just looking for some tips or suggestions in case I may have not thought of anything.

    RF 3IIs

I've moved some things around in my entertainment room and I now have a completely open wall which is about 18 feet wide. I currently have the RF3IIs about 1 1/2 feet off of the back wall, and about 2 1/2 feet off of their respective side walls pointed toward the center of my couch which is 12 feet from each speaker. The room is about 25 feet deep. I was just wondering what others have found to be optimal for setting up their RF3IIs. Away from wall, close to wall, angle, etc for me to experiment with in my free time. Thanks.
  5. I have an RX-v1400 with my R-F-C-S3IIs and RB3s. Absolutely love it.
