I had to pack my stereo equip. away as I am in the process of purchasing/moving in to my first home. hopefully the speakers survive the trip. I can't wait to get them in my OWN home and just let them rip.... Just had to share the joy of my first home purchase with you all

Im too cheap to get digital cable, but with Comcast when you plug your hd tv in using just the basic cable you pick up quite a few digital and hd channels. Which is great until you go back into the normal channels and try and watch a program. The picture was all grainy and looked washed out. Then I added the signal booster and what a difference the hd channels are vibrant now and the normal channels look to be digital quality.

So now That ive had this thing for almost a week now there's some good and some bad. Although i would probably never use them i would have liked to have had PiP, and a memory stick slot. Thats it. Now the good...... HD.... awesome So see if this makes sense to anyone else, with the hd tuner built in I didn't need an antenna i just hooked up the one basic cable line and it got like 70 analog channels and like 35 digital channels most of which are doubles but for some odd reason when someone in my erea orders on demand..... I get it.....what ever they do with it happens on my tv too...they rewind, i rewind.....I dont understand but i am by no means complaning...oh and one more complaint im sure most of you wont run into this but I refuse to be a slave to the cable company and upgrade to digital rite now, so i had to purchase a motorola signal booster, because after you watch an hd program then go back to regular cable it was so grainy. But the signal booster fixed that

in my opinoin nothing beats a home made entertainment center

Im coming off a 94 or 95 panasonic 32" so the sound out of my sony is like 10x's better compared to that old tv. Add in some Forte ll's and its a nice room filling sound

hd pic is awesome..... analog pic is grainy. I had to buy a signal booster, and that did it. now the pic is awesome all the way around
