Man, that's one big
armoire (sp? and is that what that is?) to make the RF-7s look that
small!!
Check out the door to the right, that will give you a better perception of what you're looking at.
Tom
To be honest, when comparing them to the door, they don't appear to be any larger than my RF-35.
Anyhoo, hope you can sell them!

Jacksonbart -- James lied about his age because he
felt that if everyone knew he was really just 15 he would be ignored
and not taken seriously. He's embarrassed about it, and I don't see
much point in beating him to death with it. Hey, you've got people
around here using sockpuppets and involved in a much higher level of
deception, and even though we know they're not "real", no one gives
them any grief at all. James was very polite and respectful to me on
the phone, and I'd just like everyone to remember what they were like
when they were 15.
Wrong thread. And I wasn't like that at 15.

I must admit I've never heard vinyl reproduced very well, but I'd like
to. Well, for that matter, I don't guess I've ever heard digital
reproduced all that well, either. One day...my system will do
it...one day...
-
If you say it's good...I'll look out for it and see if I can't listen to it. Thanks for the recommendation.
-
Perhaps a blanket statement calling all digital 'crap' would be
ignorance. And you're right, digital and analog can be bad, and I
also believe they both can be very good.
It is quite difficult to debate such matters as this because it is all
personal opinion. It's mere preference. It's all
subjective. About all we can do is state what we think and why we
think so. Anything beyond that is fruitless.
-
oh, but don't you know it's common practice to bash
anything digital? everyone else does, so may as well join the
crusade.
Just because it seems to be the bandwagon to jump on these days doesn't
mean everyone who's against digital is on that bandwagon. Everyone
has a right to their own opinions.

Man, this is depressing! I need to start listening to some more music!!
-
Hope you're able to get your hands on another TT soon. What kind
of music do you like to listen to? Where do you find your
vinyl? How many LPs do you have? How do you store them and
have them sorted? Just curious.
-
it sounds like ti more their own
honest personality than some sort of marketing approach.
That makes it even better.
-
I bet the tennis balls would prove to be a good solution.
Now, you've got me curious. *ahem* Do you really have a TT? And if so, and if you dislike CDs so much, why are you using them to listen to your new amp instead of LPs?
Hope you can get your vibration problem solved. One solution may be to turn it down...[]

Hmm. A lot of audiophiles suggest isolation blocks to keep jitter
and whatnot to a minimum. I've never thought that'd do a whole
lot (especially as I'm not a very critical listener), but something of
that sort might suit you well. Maybe some small blocks of soft
wood (like pine or some-such) or some rubber feet. I have some of
those rubber cushions you're supposed to put on the inside of a door or
a drawer so that it doesn't bang up against the door jam or
dresser/chest/etc. That might do ok.

Yeah, now that you mention it, it does kinda look like he pasted that paper in the pic with Paint.

Revealed
here for the first time
Bah-humbug!! You revealed it in the General Questions forum three minutes prior to posting it here!!

So, what's the new challenge? I'm still waiting for one I know...[]
-
Nice rhyme...
It's just a shame I don't get the line...
-
Awesome! Glad to see it finally got there in one piece. I'll be looking forward to hearing your comments on it!
Oh, and nice way of 'authenticating' the picture, lol.
-
I just think the kid has heard enough for now we can all see if he learned.
I agree with you there. Enough people have 'flamed' him.
And he apologized. Now it's time to just sit back and see what he
does. I hope he hasn't abandoned us.
-
Does anybody else get that? Went right over my head...
[:^)]
-
Oh, sure. Get us stoked by saying just the hardware'll cost between 3 and 4k dollars, and then not tell us what it is!!

I wanna know!!!! [:'(]

I think I have a solution for this predicament. I'll just send
you a MO for $50 to cover shipping, and you can ship 'em to me.
Then, you won't have to worry about this anymore. You can just
relax and enjoy all your other gear and pursuit of even more!

I'll admit it definitely isn't 'fair' to defend a grown man spreading
lies for monetary gain and yet turn around and whip a 15-year-old for
telling lies that essentially affect no one. However, from one
stand point, it's too late for that man. He's set in his ways and
is who he is. At 15, there's still time to change. While
I'll also admit that an online forum is not the place for such rebuke, it's better than nowhere, and could possibly have an impact.
Also, justifying any lie by saying that nothing bad comes of it
is just unacceptable. Once one gets the knack of lying, it only
gets easier and easier to do so.
I can't remember who this quote belongs to, but I think it's appropriate:
Those who think it permissible to tell white lies soon become colorblind.

NOSValves - Could you explain to me your reasoning for changing the
fuses like that? What you said caught my attention, but I can't
say as I understand what you're talking about.
