  1. Thanks, I had searched the topic a few days ago and the two names you mentioned are familiar. Maybe I'll see if I can get the question to them directly. John
  2. Veneering looks like it could be a lot of fun and I'm getting the bug. I need to think small at first and wonder if the vinyl on some of newer and smaller Klipsch speakers can somehow be removed and replaced with real wood. Has anybody any experience with this?
  3. I'm replacing my older Proscan 36" tube HT system. As the first step I plan to buy Klipsch Refererence Series speakers to connect to its external speakers feature on this, then when I recover, shop for a flat screen. I have a minor problem. The room is 12' X 14' and there is a woman in the house who claims to be my wife who has filled it with furniture that is , best I can tell, Art Deco. Wall space is somewhat limited. I had planned to buy a RF-5 based group until she saw a picture of the new RVX-54 speakers. These, it seems, are much more in keeping with the theme of the room. I gather her entire psychological well being somehow hinges on the visual impression this room makes on her friends. I don't know much about this new series of speakers except they look interesting. I would be getting what they recommend: main, RVX-54; center, RCX-4; surround, RSX-5; sub HW-12. Anybody know anything?
