I have RB-25's (rated at 75w, 400 Peak), RC-25 (rated 150w, 400 peak) with quintet surrounds (someday will be RS-25's) and an RW-12 sub. I love the setup and the sound for this system is AWESOME. But my HT receiver is 7 old and needs updated. I am currently looking at a Sony DA1000ES (100 watts) DA2000ES (120 watts) or a Sony DA3000ES (150 watts).
My question is, am I going to blow the RC-25's and the quintets with this much wattage if I go with the 3000ES? I know the RB-25's are rated 400 peak but only 75 continous.
Can someone explain how to match the power to the speakers?
Thanks,
Rob
