  1. my wife was the same 1st thing i brought home was 8 foot dalite screen (free)which sat unused for a good six months then when the projector came home one day i got more grief, but when i finally put it all together the first time she was to say the least wowed

  2. thanks all for the info i found out my rebate is not taxable here in pa. however in n.j. it was. wound up saving with rebate 25% off sticker on my new sierra i'm pretty happy, dealer would not budge on price he actually found the truck i wanted in r.i. and is having it transported here to pa.

it was really time to replace my 91' silverado with 530,000 on the odometer

    thanks again

    john

  3. most manufactures are now offering 72 month loans now, i had a 60 mo. loan approved in ten minutes tuesday night by capital one. funny thing though wed. when i went to buy, the gm deale beat them by almost one point 2 good a deal to pass up and i had the loan term and interest rate put into the sale agreement CYA.this way theres no "adjustments" on friday when i get my new sierra

  4. summer of 75' was living in bayonne, nj our "click" had our summer spot under the flagpole at bayonne park, stones , floyd , dead and edgar were hot that year . roosevelt stadium was the place to be for concerts in the east. oh yeah!! the only thing to beat that was bicenttennial year to follow anybody remember the ny dolls at max's kansas city it was a really good summer in 76'1.gif1.gif1.gif1.gif1.gif1.gif1.gif1.gif

  5. sorry to hear of your bad gm experience, i was at a dealer 2 weeks ago for a new silverado, price was good for me with the incentives being offered but i took it out for a ride, it shifted terribly and rode like it had stone tires.

i almost signed for it still, but on the way home changed my mind. my old 91' silverado has 530,000 miles on it rode quieter and smoother, shifts perfect and has never given me a serious problem.

  6. i cannot remember the last movie i saw in a theater. just 2 darn expensive, about 50.00 seems right for 2 people when all is said and done. i'll wait for the dvd thanl you. the only thing more aggravating paying top dollar for good seats at a nascar race, then you can't see because 100,000 people decide to stand to see .

  7. i have one of those sitting here, we've been very happy with it . a great beginner projecter . i'm no expert on them but once you get the zoom/focus set right it's pretty neat, after i fix my roof i was planning to permanently mount it. i did notice however it has no keystone correction and that could prove a problem ceiling mounting it. one other thing reasonably priced secondary market now 3 - 600 $$$ not bad to get your feet wet

  8. anybody here that follows nascar will remember about 12 years ago when hoosier challenged goodyear and nascar decided both manufacturers had to come to each race with enough tires for the entire field not just the cars that ran on their tires . guess who won? anybody here remember geoff bodine lapping almost the entire field at pocono ? and guess who got the secondary engineering facts when hoosier could't meet nascar requirements. anyway a nice gesture on michelins part

personally give me a bridgestone or cooper tire any day1.gif1.gif1.gif

  9. fwiw, my wife is in arbitration with me over our(?) next new vehicle i want a new siverado 4wd with a 5 speed, she says i need to get an automatic because her new buick isn't big enough for her auction and flea market purchases. and this way she could drive my new truck!!!!! no way she hasn't touched my present one and it's been safe for 530,000 miles

  10. absolutely absurd in this day and age payng 2-300 dollars for a warranty on a computer, paying 120 for speaker wires when lamp cord or romex will work as well at 1/10 the cost will do the same for the special monster cable video/audio connects. BAH HUMBUG
