  1. I would love to get a copy of the dope from hope paper you are referring to. Thanks in advance. Nate
  2. I'm not sure where to post this question.... I have a bunch of 3/4" R4 Styrofoam insulation. Can this material be used as sound damening material for my home theater? For example, can I place it on the walls to reduce the reflection of sound off the walls? Nate
  3. Where would I go (web site, local Home Theater store, etc) to find out how to determine the proper placement of my speakers? I am moving into a new house by the end of this month. My wife has allowed me (never thought I'd say that) to use the upstairs room as a theater room. I do not have the dimensions of the room yet, but when I do, how do I determine the best placement of the speakers? If I gave the dimensions of the room, type of speakers and equipment, etc, would anyone in this forum be able to help me? Thanks. Nate
  4. I'm using 2 cornwall II's as my main speakers in my home theater. Would a klipsch SW 8 provide me with more base, and does this sub match well with the cornwalls? Thanks. Nate
  5. Philh, Thanks for the information. BTW, What is the recomended match for surrounds? Nate
  6. Jim, Heresy or Heresy II? Does the heresy or heresy II match the Cornwall II's better than the KLF-C7 or Academy Center? Nate
  7. A while back, I read (on this BBS, as well as on the Klipsch Web site) that the KLF-C7 is the perfect match for the Cornwall II's (for 5.1 home theater). However, the new klipsch web site now states the Academy Center is the correct match for the Cornwall II's. Does anyone have experience with using both center speakers in combination with the Cornwall II? Does the C7 or academy center match the C II's better? What about surround speakers? Any help is appreciated, as always.
  8. I have the change to purchase some VERY used cornwalls. I currently own a pair and couldnt be happier. I want more. The only info I have on these cornwalls is the S/N and type: 5M473 and 5M474. Type CD-BR. By looking through the BBS, I determined that these cornwalls were made in 1974. What other info is to be known? What does the D in CD-BR mean? (My current Cornwalls are type CII-BR: Raw Birch Cornwall IIs?). Will these used cornwalls match (in sound) my current cornwalls (s/n of 8705192 and 8705191)? Any info is greatly appreciated.
