I do not know who care, I think its quite amuzing that someone would go to the trouble and try and dig up some posts I put up. Sometimes you have to falsify infomation to be accpeted and be taken suriously. I would like to issue an apology to those who I exploded at, that includes triode, calblacksmith, and someone else, I am blanking on the name at the moment. I'm sure you all think at this point that I am some lying baffon who never tells the truth. It is true that sometimes I do lie, it is a personal fault that I have been trying to fix since early childhood. I feel a need to try and impress people and due to my own insercurity about myself, I make things up. Does this make me a bad person? does this one character flaw deminish my standing as a human being? Because thats how you guy make me feel, thats how everyone has always made me feel. Some would say just tell the truth, but it is not as easy as that.

Well I am 43 years old, I sit in my room with my fat beer belly, laughing at the fact so many people think I'm 15. I have never been laid and havent left the house in 12 years. Wow, haha, how blown out of proportion is this, I was pissed yesturday thus my post to triode. In response to the Corvette forums post, my father has agreed to buy myself a corvette, and since I have nothing better to do, I post hypothetical questions that I can put to use when we finaly to go out and purchase a corvette. But never the less my real goal her was just to get some sugestions beyond what I have already recived.
And after review, I think I am going to do for some chours II's, true they may be alittle large for my current room, but I will not be staying in my room forever. So thats to the ones who helps, dr. who in praticular.

The rf-3's have a great amount of bass, but heresy's and la scalas do not. So when I said I need bass I was saying that those sugestions may not work for my listening tastes. As for my shanling it comes on thursday, there we a few shipping delays, I had them replace the output tubes and then ups delayed it, at least its triple boxed so I do not have to worry about the idiots throwing it off of there truck

You know how many speaker brands there are, trying to find new speakers is very difficult. I don't listen to rap, only rock and jazz. And if you were not a lady you would be getting a very negitive response from me. I'm sure if you ask anyone who has known me for awhile, they will tell you I know what I'm doing. So don't speak if you have no idea what your talking about

Triode I don't think I like your tone. RF-7's have such a low impedence curve that most tubes amp have real problems driving the load of the woofers. I know the heritage will have no problem with tubes, in fact they usally sound better with them.
*rant*And when I'm all grown up, I should suriously kick your A**, I don't think one single post has pissed me off more than this one. I most likly know more about audio than you and your just repeting everything you hear. So go be a troll elsewhere or learn what your talking about!!!*end rant*

Would like to do rf-7's but I have a desire to use tube amps, 30-50wpc with my current have 35wpc. So thoese speakers are out of the question.

I NEED BASS, but I could always buy a sub later, however. Tofu please elaberate (sorry I can't spell for ****) compair the sound of the two speakers, that would be very helpful. I am willing to spend around $1500 so my options are not limited.

Well, I have been looking for speakers as upgrade bug has been in my blood for awhile, I mean i've had my rf-3's for almost 3 months, haha.
There are just some things that dont do it for me on these speakers, and mainly it is the fit and finish. Plus I am willing to buy a better speaker.
Well anyway, I have been looking at other brands, such as soliloquy, von schwick (however you spell it), spendor, etc.... And I am liking what I am seeing. I'm looking for floorstanders or mini and sub set up. I was thinking cornwalls, but they may be too large for my modest 11x14 room.

I'm right here, been busy with the new girlfriend, and homework, alot of it. My amp was delayed, won't be here till thursday, but I'll post pics. The past few days have been spent looking for speakers, going to different stores and such. Anyway I am off to do an essay, oh and queen was awesome.

I always found the harman/kardon, I have a 430, to be bright with the rf's, I have the rf-3's, I bought I teac amp and it beats that hk430 hands down. IMO

Well I say go for whatever sounds good, and do not listen to the others as long as you know it sounds better.
