If you're happy with that, fine. ---------------- That's why I decided to listen to nearly everything they had there. I even auditioned some non Klipsch floors. They just didn't seem to compair. There's something about the sound quality of the RF-25's that I like. So In turn I am choosing what sounds good to me. Even my soon to be wife was impressed on how they sound. Once again. As for the recevier, I am open to any suggestions on what would be good to power the RF-25's. Gimme a list guys.

Money is going out to alot of other things right now. I.E. WEDDING... It's gonna be a reletivly slow process till I get all that payed for. I want to at least get the reciever and floors in the next month and a half. I just want to get everything settled and know what I am getting now to make things easier. My parents even hinted that they would get me the center channel for my birthday in July. To me, that would be a hell of a birthday present. God I can't wait. As for the Center channel, I think I am going to go with the RC-25. I was thinking later on for the surrounds I would use a set of bookshelfs for right behind my couch and the angled surrounds (not sure of the model) for off to the side. Of course that will all be MUCH later. Once again, my ProMedia 5.1's led to... ADDICTION!
  3. Well everyone, Just got back from "The Stereo Shoppe", my local Reference dealer. Got to hear nearly all the Reference line while I was there. So far here's the decision for the fronts and center. I'm choosing the RF25's for the fronts. They seem to have the best balance out of the 3 different choices, The RF35's just seemed too heavy while the smaller I believe it's RF15's? Just seemed to be lacking something. Now for the center channel, it's going to be the RC25 to balance with the fronts well. The salesmen told me that if I went for a larger center channel I might run into the problem when watching movies is the action runs from right then through the center to left it might sounds a bit mismatched. I'll take his word for that unless all you audiophiles enlighten me on something I dont know about. Last but not least, he recommended the Denan (sp?) AVR-1905, that way if I do end up scaling up more in the future I have that option with it's 7.1 capability. Like I said before I know nothing at all about Receivers so any advice is that area is greatly appreciated. Price rundown is as follows: $700 for the pair of RF25's, $250 for the RC25, and $500 for the reciever. So what do you all think? Decent way to start? Thanks everyone!
  4. Looked up a dealer for the Reference line. There is one about 15 minutes away from me luckily. But, they do not carry the Synergy line. Go figure. I'm going to go up tonight maybe to check them out and check prices. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I can feel the Klipsch HT experience sooner now.
  5. :Edit: Accidentally double posted. Oops...
  6. D, You got the same problem that I have. Living too far from anything. I've been hearing that we are supposed to be getting a BB about 15 minutes away. But that rumor has been going around for over a year now. Still don't see one getting built. Oh well, I don't mind the 60 mile drive. It would probably still be cheaper to drive rather than ordering online and paying the shipping for some F3's or Reference. Whichever I decide to get. For all others helping here.. Room Size = 17x15 Didn't even need the tape measure.. 1' square ceiling blocks. Sorry it took so long to get that to yall.
  7. I will be checking those out also. Soon as I get to BB either this weekend or next. I'll keep all of you posted on what I decide.
  8. Wow, so much input. Thanks everyone. Like I said in my erlier post. The dealer closest to me is BB nearly 60 miles away. Yes the area I live in is really deprived, Central PA sucks. I will make a trip out there sometime soon... like.. this weekend. I really want to hear the difference between all the product lines before I decide. On the downside of all this.. It won't be until a couple of months down the road before I can afford anything. (Paying for the DJ and Reception Hall for my wedding kind of put a huge dent in the bank acct.) Well going to run for now. I will get you all my room size this evening sometime once I dig out my tape measure.
  9. I was looking at the Synergy F3 floors, S3 Surrounds, and a Sub12. I checked all the prices at BestBuy and it looks that I can get everything I need except for the most important piece, the reciever, for about $2000 or so. I'm not sure on the exact dimentions of my living space. I'll have to get back to you on that. But like you said I can always piece my system together as I have the cash. As for going to a local dealer, the nearest one to me is BestBuy which is about 60 miles away. Looks like I will have some driving to do. Chances are I will get the F3 floors, and a reciever (NEED HELP) to start. Guess I can go from there. Will that setup shake my living room apart??
  10. Well guys, I currently have a set of Promedia 5.1's hooked to my computer. Thus led to an addiction. Now I don't know much about home theater so I figured that I'd try and pick a few brains on this one.. I'm looking at a budget of around $2000 US (I'll get that much once I'm done paying for my wedding... lol), and I want Klipsch speakers. Sub, Floor for front, surrounds, center channel, and reciever in which I know absolutly nothing about. I just would like some suggestions on what would be some good options for me. Looking for good rich clean sound, and enough bass to rattle my windows. Thanks alot for the suggestions everyone. :Edit: Oh yes, It cant take up half my living room. I need room to walk.
  11. All you guys suck. I want some home theatre stuff. Darn wedding taking up all my funds. I guess my Promedia 5.1's will have to quench my thirst for good sound for now. Promedia 5.1's lead to addiction...
  12. Indeed moon, I just thought its was kind of cheezy. Not the whole scene in itself. Mostly the yell itself. It was kind of like a half *** Vadar yell. The whole room should have blown up. Edit: To put the yell into perspective... It's kind of like the yell that Luke lets out after Vadar tells him that he is his father. I'm sorry but that was a pretty bad yell...
  13. Went and saw it last night. Great movie I thought. Definatly best out of the first 3 episodes. Nothing will beat the original episodes IMO. Even my soon to be wife liked the movie. Though she hasn't seen the other 5.. Now she wants to see them.. Uh oh... I created another Star Wars freak. lol. Crappiest part of episode III.. "Vader: Where is Padime. is she okay" "Emporer: In your anger you killed her" "Vader: ARRRGGGHHHHHH ($hit starts breaking..) NOOOOOOOOOOO" So cheezy... Vader DOESNT YELL.. He's a hardass.. wtf... lol Oh yeah, I better get some Klipsch home theatre speakers before the DVD comes out. Anyone got a couple grand I can bum??
