Why no replies? This was a genuine question. Wondering why I don't see Klipsch in the soundbar "top 10 reviews". Either way... I'll likely stay with Klipsch anyways...

When I look online for soundbar ratings / reviews... I rarely see Klipsch, why? Loyal Klipsch fan that needs to make some adjustments, and wondering why I don’t see Klipsch as a front runner in the reviews.

With some modifications to the furniture... I think I can now go up to 75". Likely going flat (not curved).

I've been looking at this model -- QN65Q9FAMFXZA
Flat screen as it will need a wide viewing angle (living room / kitchen combined)

Just went to Samsung's website and saw there is a flat 65" model. Still interested to learn more about the curved models...

Anyone regretting buying a curved tv? For some reason Samsung's 65" QLED is curved, and the 55" and 75" models are flat. This will be for a standing unit (not wall mounted). Worried that this is more of a fad... than something I would want for years.

Remodeling a house with a modern floor plan -- open space that counts as living room & kitchen. Former system was the 7.2 THX Ultra 2's in a dedicated room... now thinking about going to a soundbar to keep things simple. Yet; worried that I will regret not having better sound. Just started looking into the RP-280 set up; however, really don't want that many speakers in the room (going for clean modern look).
Thought about going 5.1 with in-ceiling rears. Not really sure about soundbars -- haven't really heard a good sounding unit yet.
Before I give it all up for the sake of simplicity... wanted to ask around for advice. I'm at the point where the walls & ceilings are open now and need to decide before we install the sheetrock.

I haven't been very active in trying to sell these speakers. Just remembered to update the listing -- now $6,500 (or best offer on ebay -- located in Texas).

KDE….I'll bet these and your Emotiva gear sounds fantastic, if thats how you had them all hooked up. GLWS
We really enjoyed this set up... and learned a lot about home theater along the way. I'd say that I even got a bit over my head with these speakers and the Emotiva gear! We were 90% movies and tv so it fir our listening trends really well.

Could this be it….https://austin.craigslist.org/ele/5509213979.html
Yes -- that is he link. Pretty generic posting as I did it quickly... given the size of the boxes and the amount of boxes... I thought a local listing would be easiest.

Turning my media room into a guest room. Selling the Emotiva XMC-1 processor along with the Emotiva UPA-7 (seven channel amp). Units are in pristine condition and have been keep in a racked set up and plugged into a Furman Elite 20 PFi power conditioner.

Both my Samsung plasmas from a couple years ago came with donut like device that snapped around the cord. Maybe for RF, don't know for sure.
But I have thought of putting them on AGon for $899.00 each with the absolute promise of blacker blacks, vivider vivid colors, crisper highs, more holographic sound stage and bass that digs to China. Make that $1199.00 or 2x for $2397.00. Thirty minute money back guarantee from when they ship. Any takers before they graze the 'Gon?
figured this would happen...

From what I've heard... the Samsung LED tv cords that come in the box are polarized. The replacement cables on Amazon for ~$10 are not listed as polarized. Does this matter? Looking to get a longer cable (~8" length to hide wires).
Is there a better place to purchase this cable than Amazon?

Thanks for the replies. I'll check out ebay listing and the repair options.
Is there a fire hazard when amps go out? I didn't see any sparks... just smoke and a burning smell.

Just saw my KA 1000 THX sub amp go up in smoke. Sounded like a fizzle and then saw smoke... then I cut it off. Does this mean that my amp is "done"? Wasn't looking to spend $1,500 on this component.
A bit upset as this amp was always stored in a rack... and has always been hooked up to a Furman Elite 20 PF i line conditioner. The amp is ~8 years old.

Sub pairing with Soundbar
in Home Theater
Posted
I recently joined the world of soundbars (due to design appeal -- former 7.2 wouldn't work in new open space). Just because I have a soundbar, can I still get a really nice sub with low frequency? Not really thrilled about the current soundbar / sub packages that I see (with little subs and likely not much rumble).
