This offer good for Klipsch Forum members only!

  2. Available to fellow Klipsch Forum Members for the first time:

A brand new Sunfire 400 x 7 monster amp especially well suited for Klipsch speakers that are hungry for power. This lists for $4495, yours delivered (FEDEX ground insured) for $3195.

A chest-thumping explosion from your favorite action movie. The drama of a rapid crescendo from your favorite classical work. These two seemingly different examples share one very important trait: a need for massive amounts of power. The power to faithfully extract every audible detail contained in your favorite movies and music. The power to evoke the experiences you expect.
In the TGA-7400, Sunfire has managed to pack 400W x 7 channels into a chassis no larger than most stereo amplifiers. The secret lies in our exclusive Tracking Downconverter technology. This patented power supply design produces enormous power; without using fans, and without heating up your A/V cabinet.

    Features and Specs

    400W x 7 into 8 ohms

    800W into 4 ohms

    1600W into 2 ohms (time-limited basis)

    Sunfires patented Tracking Downconverter technology

Two output options for the main left and right channels: current source for a warmer, more open tube sound or voltage source for tightest response. Use both in bi-wire configurations for the best of both worlds - warm, spacious highs; and tight, punchy lows!

Intrinsic frequency response 1 Hz to 80 kHz

Signal present auto-on switch senses input signal on any channel and automatically powers up

12VDC trigger input with 1/8" mini jacks, as well as plug-in screw-terminal strip

Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs

    High-quality five-way binding posts

    Five-year parts and labor warranty

Available in black or titanium finish

  3. Let's cut the confusion about this....GO get two extra speakers for the rear back surrounds, it ties in the side surrounds perfectly and envelopes you with sound. I finally got some extra RC-64's to add to the rear and added another amp to run these puppies...amazing. The biggest improvement I've made since I upgraded my main AMP.

Add a buttkicker in your recliner and you won't go out the rest of the year...quite remarkable.

  4. Hi Christian,

I replaced the RC7 with the new RC64...since the center channel produces 60% of the output from soundtracks it's important to have a competent center speaker. The RC7 is good and I would rate it a 7.5 but the RC64 is a good 9.0. It is massive with it's 4 woofers but the increase in clarity and output is quite amazing. Go for the RC64!

  5. Just upgraded to different Klipsch surrounds to better match my current system. Have these babies that are in excellent condition and will sell for: $375/pair + actual shipping.

I will say, that if you are in the market for some truly theater quality sound at home, these speakers are by far the best I have heard. Most surround speakers are "small" sounding, and subtle. I never liked that. These Klipsch S6's have a powerful presence, and their sound stage is seamless. They make you feel like you are in the movie.

  6. I have available now an extra RC-64 in black center speaker. This is factory sealed, brand new.

I currently use one paired with my RF-7's and it's killer. The dialog is crystal clear and accurate. I have the center set at small and I have never heard of a better center speaker!

Email me for the best price + shipping. Also have Sunfire subs, amps, processors available!

  7. Speaking of which.....the Sunfire True Signature EQ sub to use with your Klipsch speakers is a match in heaven. Never, never will you be lacking for chest thumping bass and I mean major compression in any size room. 2700 watts of power!

Also, the new Sunfire Theater Grand V has just been released...another masterpiece from Sunfire, including new hdmi switching. You owe it to yourselves to audition these!!!!

  8. Yes, the main difference is the HDMI switching on the new TGV. Also a total cosmetic changeover.

Bob Carver was offered a deal that he couldn't refuse from a much larger company. He will continue on as the engineering guru at Sunfire however. Sunfire is a very strong company with a solid product line which is ever-increasing. The public really hasn't seen anything yet...alot of new products are to be introduced this year all from Bob's engineering group.

  9. Sunfire's new Home Theater Process, the Theater Grand 5 is now shipping. It features 7.1 channel with their new HDMI video switching. Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby ProLogic IIx, DTS, DTS-ES, DTS Neo:6, plus Sunfire's Side-Axis outputs for 9.1 channels total playback. Sonic Holography. Zone 2. Video Upconversion.

A perfect complement to any of the Klipsch speakers. Available in either black or titanium. List for $3,499. PM me and I will give you a price that is truly unbelievable.
