Comparing the B & W separates with McIntosh, which will sound best with my Cornwalls (1) ?

does the new Jubilee require corner placement like the k horn?

I am considering purchasing some of the older McIntosh coponets such as the 7200 amp a good pre amp and 6700 tuner from Audio Associates. I have also looked at the B & k separates and am not sure which way to go. I know how good the Macs are , but then I think the B&K would be new. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
