  1. I have previously sent my request back in early January. Do i need to resubmit my request or am I still on the list to receive the new insert?
  2. thanks for the replies. i did a reset of the nano and it worked(as ppl started posting about in another thread). no i bought the nano because it was the best sounding(for what it is) and most reasonable home system out rite now. If i really wanted sound quality, i wouldnt have gone for the ifi system at all an would have gone another route. but back to the topic, the system works fine now, it seems to have been a problem with the ipod itself and its been working fine since.
  3. So I set up the system today just to make sure it actaully works before i run wires everywhere and pretty much have the unit settled into its spot. I get everything set up, put my ipod in the base , turn the main power switch on and start playing the ipod but there is no sound coming out of it. All i get is some background noise with zero music. Now i see why the unit was in perfect condition....it probabyl didnt even work in the first place so nobody bothered with it. anyways, I see that Amy is always on the forums so I was going to check here to see if there was any way she could help me out with getting a replacement unit that hopefully works. I have also already emailed Kilpsch at their email customer service address to bring attention to this problem.
  4. i received my system yesterday and i checked it out. im a picky person so i inspected it VERY good......it looked like it was a system that someone bought, decided they didnt need it(before taking anything out of the box), an returned it. everything was perfect. not a single scratch, smudge, dent, etc. the grills were perfect, the cloth on the grill was perfect with no snags, no loose spots, etc. so far im happy with it visually. i'm assuming the audio will be fine.
  5. cool, thanks for the input. i actually ordered a refurbished system and i just received it today. probably gonna set it up this weekend so i'll find out then what "refurbished" means. warranty doesnt concern me with the company.....it just concerns me because i dont know exactly what their definition is for my specific system. now if its cosmetic, i have no problem with it. if its electric or something with the speakers then i'll have a problem. i'll find out later though.
  6. I was wondering what caused the refurbished systems to be returned to the company in the first place? I was debating on ordering one of the refurbished ones. The thing thats stopping me is the fact that I dont know what was originally wrong with it and if im going to end up having the same problem if it wasnt permanently fixed. Also, when it says refurbished, im thinking that there is the possibility that I could end up with a unit with a huge chunk of mdf taken out of the sub or an unsightly gash in the plastic on one of the satellites. I guess if someone could give me more insight on the integrity of the refurbished products that would be great. Thanks in advance.
