is there any reason why i shouldn't leave my iFi on or in "standby" mode all day? will it overheat even when not in use? the sub on my promedias got extremely hot even when the speakers weren't even operating when it was on. thanks in advance for any replies. off to work for me.

otherwise i'd be stuck with my lame(ish) klipsch 2.1 promedias. i mean, they were okay. i just never got the mid-range i expected from them. thanks for the price tip guys. i got the last one within 30 miles of me.
