  1. I have the multichannel version of WinDVD 2.3 DTS. There is only one DTS-decoding version, and it is this one. It works, but I can only get two speakers! Why would this be greyed out? PowerDVD lets me choose 4 speaker output without a problem. PLEASE HELP GUYS -Jared
  2. OK, I got WinDVD 2.3 DTS. It plays the DTS streams, but, for some reason, the 4 speaker option is greyed out. I can only choose the 2 speaker option. Any reason why? PowerDVD lets me choose 4 speakers.
  3. Hey guys, I just bought the Blue Man Group - Audio DVD and I can't play the music when in "DTS Surround" mode. The only other option is Dolby Digital, but thats not surround sound. (it does work, however) I am using PowerDVD 3.0. Anyone know how I can get this to work? Is it software related or speaker related? Thanks -Jared
  4. grrr... this makes no sense.. I'm don't even know where to begin to try to figure out what the problem is.
  5. hmm, ok.. so i know that the problem isnt being caused by my mobo or graphics card. I'm just trying to isolate the problem. I don't know if something is conflicting, or if SBLive just has issues in general in Win2k.
  6. oh, nevermind.. didnt see it in your signiature. I have a Nvidia Riva TNT2 32mb. I don't know what to do about this Do you have a VIA mobo?
  7. Well, I'm a beta tester for Whistler, and so far, the problem exists in all builds that have been released. I am doubtful that they will fix this problem. I have filed numerous bug reports regarding this. What bothers me the most is that I don't even know what is causing the problem, let alone how to fix it. IamZero: What video card do you have?
  8. clip - sh is the correct way to pronounce it by the way
  9. I am having this SAME EXACT problem, and i have yet to find a solution. The problem with the crackling/popping, basically whenever movement is on the screen, occurs not only with Liveware 3, but also with just the drivers. This is so frustrating. Right now I'm using an older driver that i had somewhere, and the crackling is gone, but I can't get 4 speaker sound. I am so aggravated by this, but I don't want to go back to WinME/Win98SE, as I had major problems in both. Win2k is by far the most stable OS I have ever used. If the audio was working correctly, it would be perfect. I have tried millions of things that were posted on various message boards, including updating the VIA drivers, moving the sound card away from the video card, etc. Nothing has corrected this problem. I NEED 4 SPEAKERS!! My pros arent the same Any ideas guy? Possibly things that could be conflicting? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much, Jared
