Thanks DPonder, I do notice quite a bit of difference with changes in speaker orientation and room positioning. The reason I asked about the minimum distance is that I talked a friend into trying a pair of Forte II's, but he's got them in a tiny apartment. My setup is and sounds quite different, so I was wondering if his speakers are just too close (about 8 feet), and if there was some standard that Klipsch recommends.
Matt, I haven't heard of "direct reflecting" (except with "Bloze" speakers), what is it?
