    Well, I still think this is one of the best audio forums on the internet today (and I frequent AK and SH forums, as well as a few others). I'm sorry if there are those that feel they must leave, but as OB and others have said, leave quietly!

    But whatever...life goes on, and Amy is doing a bang-up job moderating these forums. I wish she hadn't deleted The Prettiest Girl thread; I still had more babes to post (heh)!

    Amy does do a great job here. I love it when she pops in over at AK to check up on us.

    Every day I drive by a lake, where everybody in there right mind has already removed there docks, and more importantly BOATS, for the winter. Up untill this year. Some genious has decided not only to leave their metal dock in the water, but to also leave their pontoon boat in as well. And this is not an old throwaway boat, its a farily late model sun deck with a nice top on it. They did a quick tarp job, tied 'er up real good, and there she sits. Keep in mind, I live in Michigan, and this lake freezes EVERY year. Am I missing something here? Wont the lake police make the owner take it out? Wont the ice somewhat destroy the aluminum pontoons? The road I drive is right next to the waters edge, so I get to see this thing up close and personal every day. They must know something I dont.

    If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken much better care of myself when I was young.

    I think people started going there when we would go down for entire weekends....or they go there to retreat when it gets too hot in here.

    From what little time I've spent over there, I sense a definite hostility toward this forum (even from some of their mods). I'll try to maintain my distance!

    actually, I started the AK uprising. could not stand the down time over here.

    Man, talk about a crazy week. I've had about 8 hours of sleep for the last week and I'm now on my way to go mix until 2am or so...I'll probably fall asleep around 4am tonight which will put me at 8 hours of sleep in the last 163 hours. I think this is going to be a personal record...never thought I would be looking forward to finals week next week! It's going to be a breeze in comparison.

    Anyways, I was just kinda curious what crazy hours everyone else has done in the past. Is college normally this insane?

    My previous "record" was 96 hours straight as I attempted to get every last drop of Europe the last time I was over there. Well, time for work...hopefully the music doesn't put me to sleep. [|-)][O]

    I often stay up for days at a time. nuf said.

    with all due respect, your nuts. a 42 inch panny plasma hd can be had for around 1500. rear projection tv's have viewing angle issues, size-space issues, color gun issues, etc.. etc... why buy old technology?
