...and cause a descending bumping sound thru the speaker when I shut power off, either by the Onkyo 905 or via the switch on the back of the sub itself. The other 12D does not do this. If I had to guess, it sounds like a capacitor is bleeding down power after shut down but yet, the other sum does not. Any ideas why this is happening? Is it detrimental to the sub?

It has been on the fritz for a while but today the sub has no sound at all. All the other satellite speakers still work but the sub does not most of the time. It had a little sound emanating from it for about 30 secs today, but went away and is quiet again. I really have babied these things since I had read all the problems others have had and I have putting up with a fading sub for some time but I want to get it fixed now Can I get this fixed through Klipsch service? I remember last year or so, they were fixing this issue for about 90 dollars. Anyone know?

So Amy..how much do you get discounted on a new pair of P39Fs? LOL Those things look awesome!! I've held off buyin' new fronts long enough.....my ship has come in.... gotta get me a pair!
