  1. Actually Im gonna call Allied Marketing by phone Monday and talk to them about a return....If I send them back and they dont refund my credit purchase I'll dispute the charge with my CC company....as long as I have all of my documentation and proof of sending them back I shouldnt have to worry about paying.. Im kinda thinking about keeping them to use as surrounds, but I really want the RS-35s, as theyre much smaller and a better match for my 35s.
  2. Hey all Im wondering if any of you have opinions on using towers as surrounds vs using the surrounds desinged to match with your mains?? I recently got a pair of RF-35s and RF-15s, and I am currently trying to sell the RF-15s....however, I am toying with the possibility of keeping the RF-15s as surrounds instead of buying a pair of RS-35s to match my mains. The big problem Im having is the size of the RF-15s...My room 14 x 20 with cathedral ceiling (14x14 main listening area), but I dont know if I want surrounds that big (about 37" tall)...I think the smaller RS-35s would look better as well as probably sound better since they are the matching surrounds for my mains. Anyone have any experience with trying something this, or more specifically, would the 15's be worthy to use as surrounds with my RF-35 mains???? Ive got an RC-35 center on the way (currently using my old SC-1 center) powered by a Denon 1603 AV receiver (will be upgrading receiver later this year). Any input is appreciated. Heres the specs for both speakers: RF-35 specs RF-15 specs
  3. Forgot to mention they are the black ash finish...not the cherry. Each box is 39lbs, and Id be shipping from zipcode 33809 if anyone is interested...I could open them up and take pics if someone wants to see actual pics of them
  4. Its definately on the list but Id rather have this amp with a Klpsch system until I can afford a new amp rather than a new amp without the Klipsch system. Its like night and day compared to my old mains. Im lovin it.
  5. I used to have an account here a few years ago, but didnt post much (if at all, I cant really remember)...Anyway, Ive been a Klipsch fan for years (good friend had a Klipsch system) and yesterday I finally got my 1st ever pair of Klipsch speakers delivered to my door. Picked up a pair of brand new cherry RF-35s from an authorized dealer online for $400 (plus $55 shipping for the pair from Mass to Fla). Ive got a Denon 1603 driving them (receiver upgrade will come after the surround system is complete). Im loving the sound from these babies after running some old Cerwin Vegas for the last 7 years. Just wanted to say howdy, and I just had to brag somewhere about my recent purchase. Ill post more on my setup (which is a work in progress) later. Its late and I need to hit the sack after tinkering with my new toys all night.
