Hi Parrot It seems like we are in the same filosofi concerning Khorns and amplifiers. It's true there are / is no knowned Khorns about mine in Sweden as fare as i know. The Hifi Forums in Sweden confirm this due to the fact that "this whas to Haevey". Time change and I see a potential. BR Lech

Great, I have Dynaco as one of my favorites. Built Dynakit MKIII for long time ago and they are still living but upgraded with new condensators and resistors. The valves are now jj-electronic KT 88 They sounds great. BR Lech

Hi All My self feeding my klipschorns with SET 300B 20+20 Watt and it sounds great. In Sweden there is only this pair of Khorns knowned. There are some DYI copys but not original. Therefore I am wondering what kind of amplifiers you recommend for Khorns BR Lech

As we already discuss the Cross Over filter and I am a new owner of this Klipschorns so..... Is there any way "within the crossover" filter to adjust the sensivity levels of the mid and tweeter horn. I've just plugged and played them. But sounds lovely. Sorry for the Swenglich but I belive you understand any how. Would prefered a damping in favour for the low frequenses. BR Lech

Yes, I am probably a stupid Swede . In so many, to many treads due to my opinion there are discussions about the cross over filters. Are they really so bad from Klipsch so all these efforts are needed. Upgradings, changes ... Or it is "low hanging fruits". Tweeks. Little bit worry for my -94 Khorns. Are my ears a hint for this ....?. Have not heard any need. ( Yet ??? ) Please advise BR Lech

Hi I am listining at both LP vinyl and CD but due to fact that LP:s decrease in new production, the CDs will take the overhand ( Unfouarntly ). Waiting for the new media in HiFi / Hi End what it will be ,but a quess "digital! 1 vs 0 = digits. But .... What to do: SACD .....????? ;;; or clean digital from the future networks, Cables, Net's ,Satelite...... But some where in the music chain it must be analog ´before our ears ( Klipsch ) Br LecH

I am not dead yet and will come over that party in US as invited to. I bought my horns for approx 3.250 USD as a demo pair ex they have been stored some where ,I dont know . Chris and others The price differents look no sense Yes ´we have high taxes ( who has not ?? ) Fright ,Yes a lot of air in the box. But do yuo mean 1 horn or a pair. My indication is for a pair FOB in Sweden installed in your house . BR Lech

Thanks again . The story of my horns is amazing For about 10 years ago I was at a dealer ( Hifi Consult ) in Sweden and bought a Tube amplifier 2x 7.5 Watt. At that time I hade home made horns like "la Scala" They where realy home made and had not the perforformance they should. I was recommended to bay a pair of Klipschorn instead which where placed in the dealers showroom. Fine, but lack of resources no business. 10 years after the resources have improved a bit I puted in a request in the Swedich E-bay for a pair of Klipschhorn. Got an answer ON THE SAME HORNS. Same price . They have been stored some where, But THEY ARE IN MY LIVINGROOM NOW. ( for ever ) They are not cheep in Sweden ,Cost aprox 150.000 SEK/pair new which is about 22.000 USD. Here in Sweden Whats the price in US?? Some one now?? The valuta exchange is infuensing + taxes There are no markiting actions at all for "the heritage serie" in Sweden That would be recovered in a jon,t venture with JJ-Electronics /Edona with their tube amplifiers distribution in Scandinava countries They are borned for each other. It took my longer time Michael .As I said I am a TRIOD freak and even werser.. what that now is... SET no feedback at all. Therefor the Klipchhorn fit in perfect in the system. Power between 2==>20 W Class A Never ever heard this dynamic ,transparent ,clear ..... I guess I am alone in Sweden. ( may be in the World ????????) BR Lech

Thanks. For your velcome words to me. I will try to live up to your expectations. As I sad in in my topic THERE ARE DIFFERNCIES in i the US and EU / FARE EAST expectations of HIFI/HI-END. I will NOT judge ,only give my personally opinion. And it's only valid for that. We have the best platform in the world : Klipschorn as the base in my opinion. This can be a fine conversation. As I wrote I am a Swede 55 years old and I am writing in Swenglich,sorry for that hope you understand any how. Hifi /High End has been my hobby , as long I can remember. I have went trough Mark Levinson ,Krell, Mcintoch + many other solid state amplifiers. I do not want to start a war about what best ,but the the best for me personally has been Low powered Singel Ended Triods. ( Therfore Klipschorns as a consequens). I am aware of the different sound culture in US compare to EU. My personally favorite is SHINDO with Western Electric 300B, but unfuorntly the most expencive amplifier in the world . 43 are built, 8 are still available to bay. In my opinion this in combination with klipschorn will be the end of NIRVANA ( todays knowledge ). But what are you doing when No1 is not feasable => search for No 2. Thats what I did. After the wall falls in Central Europe the Tjechozlovacia theTube manufacturer TESLA was bought by private intresents and started the company JJ-Electronics to produce valves/tubes but with a more western approch. Their core business is valves, but they have two employes for hand building amplifiers with 300B and 2A3 High End. The Award for Design and Engeenering Swowcase was given them 2000/4 This amplifiers are borned for Klipchorn:s and so far away from others they ever can be ( in my tasthe.) I am now so happy that i have both Klipchorns and JJ-332 so this will be my retire in upgrading of brand marks. BR Lech
