  3. Hi all, I was using Search Tempest while deployed to Afghanistan in January and they had been up for over a month and I figured they surely where sold but when I emailed she said I was the first to call on them and I was shocked to say the least. My family drove from Little Rock to pick them up which was about 2 hours so all in all I am a happy camper Klipschorn for the price of Cornwalls! Thanks for all the comments on the crossovers. I have one question though on the crossover there is an input what is that used for? I hooked my amp up to the post on the lower cabinet? Would that be the imput be for Bi-Amping? I am new to the K-Horns.
  4. Hello all, new to the forum but I finally got my hands on a pair of Klipschorns 1979 vintage Walnut Oiled with Cain grills off Craigslist for $900 from a really nice lady in Texas who drove them up to Texarkana, Arkansas to meet my family and drop them off. I would be the second owner but they are salesman samples out of Texas so who knows? They where purchased in 1980 by the previous owner. I hooked them up and they sound great but they still have the original AA type crossovers so I am just wondering if I should replace them? I listened to them with a Marantz 2270 and they sounded great but I know they can sound better. I am attaching pictures below. I am soliciting opinions from other Klipschorn owners so let me here from you............... 6. Hello all, I am a new member here. I owned a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls in the mid 1980's and like a dumby sold them. After all these years I have come back to the best speakers I think are on the market, Klipsch. I am just trying to get some Ideas of what kind of speakers I should buy. I have a Pioneer Elite M-90 and M-72 to power them. I know my M-90 handled them well in the 80's but now after all these years out of the market and with all the different models to choose from now I am lost. So I am looking for some opinions as to what kind of speakers I should go for. I was real pleased with the Cornwalls but always wondered how the Klipschorns would sound? Now I read all the buzz about the RF-7's and I would like some feedback from the people who own any of these. I am a US Army soldier in Afghanistan and these speakers will be a present to myself upon return. I will keep what ever I buy for the rest of my life so let me hear from everyone. I want to purchase a minimum of four speakers, front and rear. My system: M-90, M-72, C-90, PDM-900, DV-38A, CT-91, F-91, SP-91, PL-707 all Pioneer Elite except the turntable. Current Speakers: Bose Jewel cubes / w one sub (not pleased).
