Looks like the price just went up by $100. New ad:

I'm sure they are nice, but for that price one could buy a lot more speaker with better sound.
"More" sound, maybe. It's hard to get much better, though.
Since I have never had them, I am out of my elements by saying better. There are so many used speakers for sale that, though larger, have great sound & for less money. Do the RF7 not sound better? That's too close to $1,000, so I'd add more to it and buy Khorns.
I've heard the RB-75 referred to as "RF-7 bookshelf replacements". Not quite the same sound, but you don't break your back everytime you move them. ;0)

Not sure where these line up compared to the old RF's, but seems cheap enough

Glad it was just a small chip, thanks for the review.

Yes, thanks for the link! I've always wanted to try one of these, should be interesting to do a side by side with the trusty old RC-7. I prefer the RC-7 over the original RC-64 but I mainly attributed that to the horn, now that the horns are basically the same I imagine it will come down to the dual ported 8's versus the quad sealed 6.5's.
Makes me a little nervous about the "no pictures and slight cosmetic damage" but the seller accepts returns so if the damage is too bad I'll just send it back.
Glad you got it. I'm looking forward to reading your comparison vs the RC-7. I have five of them in my 5.0 system.

So the flurry has slowed. Final verdict?
Are they still available?
Still ok with shipping?
I think these are them on craigslist

Subwoofer to match RB-75?
in Home Theater
Posted · Edited by 48n123w
I'm looking for a sub to match my RB-75 & RC-7.
I checked my local used market but none of the brands looked familiar. If I have to buy new, does anyone have a recommendation?
