  1. maybe I should rephrase... Would option 1 be enough power for the 7's? Is option 2 even a good idea, ie) sound way out of balance?
  2. I'm considering a McIntosh MC 7108 for my 5 channel HT (Fronts RF-7, RC-7, Rears RF-5). From my research I believe this 8 x 40 amp can be configured a few ways. Which option would be best for my setup? 1) 8 x 40W 2) 3 x 100W + 2 x 40W 3) this amp is wrong for me thanks for your input!
  3. I found the weight & dimensions for the RF-5 on the Klipsch site, but I don't think that's in the box. Does anyone know the boxed info? thanks
  4. I've come across a used Outlaw 950 Pre/Pro for $400. Anyone have experience with this unit? Should I jump on this or go 970 "b stock" $649 or 990 new $999? any suggestions appreciated, thanks
  5. dachuckster - thanks for pointing that out all the outlaws here seem to be enjoying their pre/pro with 1 amp - sounds like a plan
  6. I actually just checked out the combo page on the Outlaw website and found this: Model 2200 (5 Amp Combo) 2200 Monoblock Amp (5 Amps) $1222.00 This seems reasonable.
  7. so it seems I should get a 5 channel unless I can find 5 identical monoblocks having an amp budget of ~1000 I guess it will be something like an outlaw setup thanks again
  8. After reading many many posts, I've decided to move away from integrated and get some cleaner power. I just have one question: Should I get a 5 channel amp or should I get a 3 channel & 2 channel? thanks

  15. Unfortunately I have to downsize, so I'm selling my four RF-5's. These are mint, black ash and still have original packaging etc. Purchased new Nov. 2006 from an authorized Klipsch Dealer. Located on Vancouver Island. If interested, please PM or email forty8n123w@yahoo.com

  17. I just happened across www.canuckaudiomart.com ... they have a few Klipsch items listed
  18. I started out with the RC-25, then my friend got the RC-35. After hearing the RC-35, I was impressed at the improvement and bought it. Then a while later I came across a good price on the RC-7. I bought the RC-7 and WOW, that was an even more amazing upgrade. After going through that, if you can afford top of the Klipsch line, go for it. You won't be disappointed. my 2 cents...
  19. thanks for the feedback guys....I'll wait for something else to come around.
