Many thanks to Bob Crites for the parts and answers to complete my Cornwall clones"B" network.I am finally listening to them with the correct crossover, ( I need a single K-55-M if anyone has one reasonable). These speakers are almost the perfect mix of efficiency and dynamics. These approach loud with approximately 8 watts driving them (single-ended 6550/6Sn7 amp with Hammond 1627se transformers) plenty loud for everyday listening.I am impressed.Bass is almost perfect.

What should I expect to pay for a good used pair of autoformers? Is there an advantage to using the UTC 3619 over the original?I thought I read somewhere that the increments of attenuation are smaller than that of the T2A.Being that I am building Clones Of a Cornwall, I would like to use the simplest crossover first and progress from there .Would that be the "B" network? K-33,K-55,T-35.

I recently built some Cornwall Clones and I am itching to get ahold of some Mid Horns and K-55 drivers as well as K33 woofers.I'm currently using EV components of 808 mid,812 woofer and T-35-B from an old EV Regal cabinet. They sound very good yet I'm getting anxious to finish the project with proper drivers.Where can these be bought?I dont see much on e-bay.What can I use for a replacement woofer that is close to the original, and can I buy the horns apart from the drivers?I thought I would use the tweets for now.I built the cab so the face will detach and I will cut a new motor-boardThanks for any reply.

I will post pics in a couple of days.I warn though, they are only flat black so far.I may rebuild the motor boards out of birch ply( MDF 3/4 now).I may even black lacquer or base coat clear coat them as in an auto paint job.Catalyzed auto clear is incredibly hard and dries fast.
