  1. But in a good way. Thank you all so much for the beautiful flowers....as you can see, I didn't have a vase large enough to hold them, and I was overwhelmed by the gesture. My gratitude for your friendship is unmeasurable... through all the moaning and groaning of rules, warnings and locked threads, I've always felt appreciated and respected here. I won't forget it.

Thank you all for your contributions to this most special of internet corners, to the amazing Klipsch brand, and to me personally and professionally. I will definitely keep in touch.

    With love,

    Queen Emeritus

  2. Does your new boss know/care that you **** around on forums all day?

He's actually looking for some vintage speakers, so naturally I volunteered to check the Garage Sale. :) HI!! :D

  3. A concise point of attack for potential customers to get access to AUTHORIZED resellers, upgrade artists and the like is only a good thing.

Sounds great, it's simply much too difficult to maintain. We have a hard enough time with our own dealer locator on our website! Adding legit upgrade artists and the like would be a challenge to vet properly. And then there's the policing of disputes! My head hurts just thinking about it.

  4. The topic reminds of that Jackson Browne song---movin on, runnin on empty, movin on, movin--Onnnn. Or at least without Maxell it sounds like that.

I was thinking more along the lines of The Jeffersons.

  5. Nonsense. It bears discussion. When do I ever lock threads?? :o

I think it makes sense on hobbyist forums, but not manufacturer forums. Too political.

Is there an example of a one where it does work? I'd be curious to see.

  6. obviously Klipsch would be responsible for administration and over sight...

With me leaving, adding admin duties to the forum is probably the last thing on their minds, I'm sure. then again, I could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. ;)

  7. Well Amy it's getting close, getting excited, any direction you go is going to be a big change, unless you just go home. :(

    Feels weird, not gonna lie!

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I haven't had time to respond to everyone individually yet, but I will!! You guys really are great. I hope you continue to make this place special.

  8. I'm curious if RF-7 II would remain the flagship model in the new reference line.

The first new Reference line will not replace the existing Reference line. So, yes and no. The RF-7 will remain as the flagship, but not of the new line coming out in July.

  9. I much prefer fiction. It's an escapism thing, I think. But then again, a lot of fiction is based on real life experiences of the author, so it's a fine line.

This was a recent read (of an older book) that I couldn't put down:

  10. Keep in mind the new Reference line coming out in July DOES NOT replace the current Reference line. It is called the "base" line, and will be a more value positioned offering in mass retail. Still awesome, but not the high-end specialty retail products.

More Reference news coming in the next few months.

  11. I don't know most of the people in the photo, but I can point out Kat on the far left (graphic artist), Alex kneeling in the middle with white headphones (social media specialist), Vlad kneeling next to him (headphone product mgr), Michael and Tony (product mgrs) on the right next to Steve Phillips in the yellow T (retired tech support). I wish I could have stayed for the event! So glad you enjoyed it. Robert and Josef are great ambassadors for us, and I know they had fun as well.
