After much difficult consideration, I have decided to leave Klipsch for new opportunities. My last day will be July 3rd. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed being a part of this forum for the past 14 years, and this wonderful company, and how much I've learned from you all. I know I will miss it.
I won't post my personal email here, but please drop me a note to my work email or PM here before the 3rd if you want to stay in touch. I consider so many of you my friends. I'm sure I'll pop in from time to time, out of sheer habit if nothing else.
I leave you in the very capable hands of Alex and Chad. They are great guys, I promise.

Special event from 4:30-6:00pm and official tour from 6:00-7:30pm.
Not looking to have any working class fans there? Seems like you'd get more visitors on the weekend.
At lot of working class folks work on the weekends.
The tour was the main request from the fans on reddit, hence the 6pm start time. The earlier special event is intended for employees, but we are welcoming all.

I was just poking fun at the Captain Obvious part.
Ha, ok, I'm slow.

The gist of the story is this is a unique opportunity for exposure of the vintage Heritage line. I think it's great, and kudos to Alex for spotting the tweets and building a relationship with an influential person and true fan who can help us get the word out.

Did you need one for Elijah Wood? Saw the pic on FB - pretty cool to have Frodo wearing this shirt while sitting on his LaScala! Well done!
So I guess you found one, then made the gold-on-black one that Elijah Wood is wearing.
Any chance Klipsch is going to do a run of those shirts?
Yes, we had that one made from a scan of the old artwork. We'll have them available soon!

Hmm... Ok, I'll go about this like assuming you don't know who Elijah Wood is, which is certainly possible.Captain Obvious here, but note the hobbit is sitting on a La Scala in the t-shirt, and Elijah who played a hobbit is now sitting on his La Scala.
I don't get it.
The t shirt he is wearing in the photo Alex posted is a re-issue of the one Klipsch made in the 70's (around there, I assume. Maybe later?). That shirt featured a hobbit from Lord of the Rings sitting on a La Scala speaker. Random, I know, but it was cute.
This interaction began a couple months ago, when Elijah posted on twitter that he is enjoying his vintage La Scala speakers. Elijah played Frodo Baggins, the hobbit in the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movies. We responded to him with a picture of the shirt, and he really wanted one. We had one made, then decided to make the reissue available to everyone.
Once he received it, he posted that picture of him sitting on his La Scala, much like the hobbit is in the t shirt design.
There you go. Now you know the rest.....of the story.

I'm speaking about the thread we are currently posting in. What thread are you speaking of?

So since no obvious answer, I suppose I would need to join twitter in order to see the pics and participate............. I feel left out as I am not a social media junkie
There is only one pic, and Alex attached it to the first post in this thread. We'd never force you to get on social media to see something! Shoot, even I'm off almost all of it, even though I'm a web marketing manager. Ha!

Is Billy Bob Thornton still jamin Klipsch?
I would bet he is. Did you watch the TV series Fargo? So fabulous. He was creepy.

Anyone with a brain can also interpret it as one of it's other many meanings, if their minds are open to it:
"Carried away by enthusiasm or desire; intensely excited; marked by intense and often chaotic activity; to an extreme degree"...to name a few.
And yes, I get the Madison Ave reference. Again, it's a play on words to harken back to a time period relevant to much of our vintage ads, literature and style. I'm sincere when I say not to over think it.

Don't over think this.

Anyone noticed our Queen has gone from regal to seductress photos?
What's up with this Queen Amy?
No wonder Amy thinks you freaks are creepy... you are!
No kidding! I thought it was just an artsy photo. Jeesh, I get a lot of grief for my avatars. I should just post a pic of a dishrag.

Bad 3 or 4 car wreck on the highway coming into work this morning. Thankfully it was in the other direction with dividers seperating us..
Yikes, I didn't win. Hope everyone was ok!

would be pretty hard to give up that cute little face
You wouldn't have a problem giving it up if it wasn't potty trained and barked at everything. And not yours.
Trust me on this one.
