  1. So you are saying the cone of the unit was moving back and forth and striking the sides of the frame? I dont think that was the case for me. I am pretty sure I simply had it too loud. I moved it more towards the corner of the room and was able to turn it down quite a bit.
  2. I have had my Sub-10 for about 2 weeks now and I notice in times of high bass output I will get what could be described as a "static" or clicking sound from the enclosure. My first instict led me to believe that I may have left a wire leaning against the outside of the enclosure and was vibrating against it. But then I realized this wasn't the case and that the sound seemed to be coming from the enclosure itself, as thought the bass output was "stressing" the enclosure and causing these "creaking" sound. Other hypothesis include possibly an internal wire vibrating against the wall of the enclosure. I hope I am not damaging the sub in any way. God knows shipping this thing back to Klipsch would be a challenge...especially since I dont have the original box.
  3. I received a response from Klipsch's tech support e-mail, they diagnosed it as an amp problem, I wanted a second opinion before I shelled out the $40 to get it repaired; it is not under warranty any more.
  4. My ProMedia 2.1 subwoofer is no longer working and is emitting a low rumble that varies in intensity and pitch in complete random pattern. It is not my soundcard as I have disconnected it from any source and the rumbling remains. It should also be noted that turning the subwoofer knob to 0 does not stop the rumbling.
  5. Might wanna cover that vent up with some screen...if you have a continuous mouse problem. While your at it, electrify the screen so that any of his buddies will get the the shock of their life going for that first nibble. Then if they are persistent, surround your woofer with electrified fence.
  6. My ProMedia 2.1 subwoofer is no longer working and is emitting a low rumble that varies in loudness, completely random. I am not sure if it is the subwoofers problem, or something with my soundcard, etc.
